It's like, what makes people say the things they do?

Well, I'm dating a man who is 63, 61 when we started dating, and I'm much younger. I am obviously into the idea of older men. I don't really like the idea of older women with younger men but I realize that it's hypocritical to be too boisterous in that opinion.

Other than the fact that she's gorgeous, she makes no sense, really.

There must be something about older men. My sisters boyfriend is 18 years older then her and she says she is getting along with him really good. She feels understood and he is supposed to be more mature then others. I haven't met him yet, but I am curious to find out what it is about older men. I can't really imagine this for myself. Older yes, but propably something like 3 to 5 years. I am only in the beginning of my twenties, so I can't really imagine to date a much younger guy, this would feel strange to me. Maybe when I'm some years older, to have a younger man would be nice, but same rule applies, the agedifference should lie between 3 to 5 years.

Older men tend to be way better lovers and are way more comfortable with expressing their needs and desires.

I have no particular response to her comment -- it's just a personal opinion (and not a very scandalous nor controversial one, by any account) and she's welcome to have it.

But she *is* a remarkable vision of beauty -- rather goddess-like (with the phenomenal bone structure with lovely skin, and her long, lean stature; plus she has that somewhat androgynous vibe).

What's good for the goose is or isn't good for the gander?? Come on ... one way or another, someone's going out with someone younger. Who cares?
