Forget Dinner is a website that caters to people in sexless marriages. The casual dating site is particularly popular in the UK and boasts the tag line: "Forget dinner and go straight to bed!" Subtle!
While many people use online dating (and dating in general) just to get laid, Forget Dinner removes any confusion. The site explains: "Forget Dinner allows people to be direct and honest about what they want without having to waste time, money, and effort sifting through the many thousands of singles who want a partner for life." Almost all the users are married, and the site has a 10-to-1 ratio of men to women. Some users say that they want to avoid long-term affairs that could get messy, so instead they look for no-strings-attached sex to make up for what they're evidently not getting at home.
There's a trend among dating sites to declare people's motives right from the start. We have the site 7 or Better for people looking for well-endowed men, and there's even a Sugar Daddies site. Basically, there's a dating destination for everyone. What do you think about a concept like Forget Dinner?

What's wrong with honesty and directness? Everyone knows infidelity is the best way to mend a marriage. I just didn't think it was so difficult to do without the assistance of a website.
1Having visited the site out of curiosity, I've got to say it looks like a thinly-veiled means of connecting to not-so-subtle prostitutes.
2If it didn't cater to married people, I wouldn't have a problem with it, actually. Some people do just want a physical relationship. It isn't for me, but there are people out there who it could work for.
3I could see this working for singles, but I find it a little sad/disgusting that it's mostly married people using these websites.
4sounds good for lonely anonynimis almost missed a bit to much to get her to kiss my lips i regret anomymously almost me never to be
5sorry to say it would appear that "Forget Dinner" is on the edge of being a scam site! Joined on recommendation of a less discerning friend. I am a 54 year old man constantly receiving winks from early 20`s women apparently wowed by my profile!Turns out most work for other sites trying to solicit business. Those women who do contact me in my age preferred group, seem incapable of writing more than 4 Ines of email and once you suggest chatting on the phone, surprise surprise no longer interested. So one and all beware. I have had more "fun" on normal dating sites:-)
6I couldn't agree more with anonymous above. I'm a 34 year old man living in Manchester who has been absolutely bombarded with winks from the scammers, often from the same one using a dozen or more profiles with the same cheesy text.
The profiles which look real haven't been active in the last month and nobody who is active seems to be a full member and therefore able to respond to enquiries. I've had one response to over 100 messages. It might be OK in London - and I hope it is, because I like the concept of the site - but for anyone looking for a date in Manchester this site is simply not worth bothering with. I paid four quid for a month's membership on a special offer instead of the usual 20-plus per month, and I feel ripped off even with that. Avoid this site at all costs.
7Dating sites like forgetdinner and wantaquickie.co.uk can deliver on the promise. But clearly the variables are the area of the country being searched and the age range you choose, so lonely in manchester may have just been unlucky. However, I agree that there are more men than women on these sites, so us guys do need to put a bit of work in to make ourselves attractive i.e. a good write up on your profile will help to bring results. Maybe try wantaquickie for a change to see if they profile a different set of more genuine ladies. Good luck mate, and let us all know how you got on!
890% (no exaggeration) of the users who have messaged me are fake. They try to get you to sign up to other sites and very often their profiles are quickly blocked by the site administrators.
If you're thinking about using this site, sign up for a trial before parting with any cash. Put as little text as possible in your profile and see how much interest from gorgeous girls you get in a month. This will show you how many users are scammers.
My recommendation: save the money you would spend on membership fees with forgetdinner.com and put it towards any other means to the same goal and/or use plentyofffish.com (it's free).
