Nope. I don't lie about my age. I will be 29 at the end of this month. I am soooo ready to be 30; I am just at the point in my life where I am ready for my twenties to be OVER. I don't think I will ever fib over my age either.

Nah, I can't see myself ever lieing about my age, but then again I do look quite a bit younger.

That being said, I turn the big 3-0 in a month, and I'm dreading it too!! I DON'T want my 20s to be over.

I'm 26, and I do not lie about my age. In fact, I spend so much more time defending my age. I ALWAYS get carded and several times cashiers don't think it's me! Just the other day at the bank, the teller asked me what my plans were for the weekend and I told him I would take the kids to the pool before they closed for the season. He said, "I thought you had to be over 20 to have kids."

Oh and recently the electrician came knocking on the front door and when I opened it, he said "Hi, are you parents home?"

I look young for my age too. I always get carded and have been accussed of not being old enough to drive! I always tell the truth with my age--I cannot lie to save my life.

Frankly, I love the idea of getting older. I want to enjoy and embrace those years. I have the most elegant and graceful grandmother whom I do share some traits with. Maybe that is why I would embrace more than deny my age.

No, I don't lie about my age. If they ask me, I truthfully say that I'm 23 years old, but a lot of people think i'm like 19 or 20. I don't necessarily correct them when they tell me that.

Occasionally I forget how old I am and tell people the wrong year (this is sad - I'm only 26!), but I've never lied about it on purpose and don't imagine I ever will.

I get accused of lying about it though! No one ever believes I'm as old as I am. I'm always carded for alcohol, and I got carded for an R-rated movie last year. A couple years ago I was looking at jewelry in Macy's and an employee said, "Oh, are you looking for something for prom?" It's so frustrating! I'll probably appreciate this looking younger than I am thing much more when I'm older - my mother and grandmother both look way younger than they are - but for now it's just kind of annoying.

nope i never deliberately lied but sometimes people guess wrong and think i´m younger and i don't exactly correct them... out of all my friends i´m the youngest so i don't have a problem with people thinking i´m younger if they thought i was older now that´s another story. Oh by the way i´m 23.

I agree with alot of people on here...Im 24 soon to be 25, and I always get pinned for 19. When I'm walking around my college campus (I'm in grad school), people assume I am a new freshman. I too also get the prom thing year after year when dress shopping in the spring.
Its annoying now, but I am sure when I am older I will be thrilled. My mom is 54 and looks like shes in her early 40's.

From all the comments I've read it appears I may be the oldest one here. I'm 40 and I never lie about my age because I feel like I've earned every year!!! It also helps that I don't quite look my age. Just this weekend someone thought I was 22 years old and wanted to know if I needed assistance with college tuition!!!!LOL

I do especially when filling out forms on the net that ask your birthdate. I am over 18 so I am not breaking any laws but I dont want anyone knowing what year I was born. Otherwise I could care less saying how old I am. I like seeing peoples expressions when they find out.

I don't lie about it when asked but sometimes in RPG games I leave my info as 21.
So it may seem it but I don't lie when asked.
