One of my last random NCMO partners was telling me that almost every girl shaves the darker hairs around their breast nipples even though they will never talk about it. I'm curious if he's right because that seemed like a pretty big generalization to me. And honestly, I'm a little scared to go at my breast with a razor! I only have a few dark hairs (an average amount I'm sure), but this guy dates mostly super models so I think he's begun to expect perfection. SO--Do most of you shave the darker hairs around your nipples?

Um, no i do not! that's horrible. then again, i don't have any dark hairs, or noticeable hairs around my nipples. never knew girls had that. hm.
1wax.
ugh i cant bleve i just answered.
but yea u kno wer all humans.
hahaha.
and grls.
2That is NOT somewhere I'm taking a razor to.
3no but probably would if i needed to
4What if you tried plucking if there are just a few?
And to answer your question, I don't think that all women secretly do this.
5Try plucking. If you have a lot of dark hairs, maybe looking into electrolysis would be the best solution because that would be better than being self-conscious all of the time.
6wow...never heard of this. i can't believe that guy is so stupid as to expect a girl to not have nipple hairs!!!
i'm sure you can find a better guy to have fun with...especially one who doesn't care about a few hairs on your nipples! jeez...what a douche!
7Wow I have never heard of this either and don't have any hair there myself...although if I did I might take care of it, only if it bothered ME though. Screw guys that care about it.
8no, if i had any that bothered me id pluck it but i dont
9I never heard of this. I didn't even know hair grew there !
10Answer to the question is No I do not shave around my nipples and not every woman does. Not sure who he is looking at topless. It is not uncommom for women to have a few dark hairs around the nipple area but I have never heard of enough to require a razor.
11absolutely not! wouldn't even think of doing so.
12I get one or two dark hairs around each nipple. And I just tweeze them, which I only have to do every other month or so. They've always been there and they're not even really that bothersome. Just part of being a girl, I suppose. I'd never shave though. God...just, no. I think we all have peach-fuzz everywhere. At least I know I do. So shaving your nipple area would be like shaving peach-fuzz off - Weird!
13I certainly don't take a razor to my breasts. If I had any that bothered me, I'd use tweezers as well. I think it's pretty funny (and dumb) when guys tell us girls what we're thinking or what "all of us do", like how they always try and convince us that 100% of girls have lesbianic tendencies, and this example.
14I've never heard of shaving around nipples!
15This is like the fifth time i've read/talked about female nipple hair in a week! (Random, i know)
But no, I do not have dark hair around my nips (only a few teeny tiny strands of peach fuzz) and only recently learned how common boob-hair really is.
As far as grooming, I would think tweezing would be best, shaving would probably make it worse.
16I don't have any noticable hair around mine...
17I have like peach fuzz stuff but you don't even notice it, and i would never take it as far as shaving it!
I used to pluck but got horrendous ingrowns. Like purplish marks that took forever to go away. I also scarred from picking the hairs out. So I started getting electrolysis. For my electrolysis, I was supposed to shave first. Something about having the hair in the growth phase or whatever. I never finished my treatments but I now have a lot less hair there. I shave now because I'm afraid of the ingrowns. Shaving there isn't bad at all. I've never nicked anything. I don't understand the fear. Shave if you want, don't if you don't.
18I've never heard of nipple hair, but either electrolysis or plucking would probably do the trick.
19No... but there's no hair there that I know of, and anyway all of my body hair is clear or blonde.
20I don't because I have no hair there. How common is this? For you women that have this, have you had it your whole life post-puberty or is this something you developed later?
21No, I've never needed to. But for anyone who does, I'd imagine shaving would be the worst way to get rid of the hair, as it would grow back spiky wouldn't it?! Electrolysis or plucking would be the way to go.
22ha ha..this website has never failed to surprise me. honestly, i really never knew it was a common prob for women. i mean one or two hairs i guess but do women really have a lot? i found one once lol and i just plucked the sucker. if i had hairy nips i think i would shave or do something!
23Not all women have nipple hairs,or noticable ones, but I do since I naturally have dark hair. I'm a plucker!
24i sometimes get random hairs on my body--including there a couple times...i always just pluck it and pray that it wont come back!
25If I needed to, i would probably just pluck them. Afraid to cut myself!!
26My nipples are sacred.. they get moisturizer but no razor
that's just weirdness.. shaving your nipple region
27
28I've never heard of this and it's certainly not something that I do. I'm fair skinned, so it's not a problem.
29I've never heard of this either, but then again, I don't have this problem, so I wouldn't ask for advice amongst my girlfriends.
30I prefer to pluck, the hairs come back much finer and less obvious. Consider yourself lucky if this isn't your issue.
31Heck No! Tweezerman is a girl's best friend...
32Hmm ALSW...I'm extremely fair skinned too, but I get a few dark hairs on each breast, which I pluck, the rest is just clear peach fuzz.
33nooo razor puhlease!!!!!!!!!!!
I prefer plucking...
34jealous of you all without this nuisance!
I pluck when i get them, but dont shave,
to scared of getting nicked. Also, I always thought i was about the only one with this problem, glad to hear i'm not alone.
35I pluck, it hurts like heck. Do it only if you want to and it bothers you.
36I have 3-5 random ones i pluck.
37Ughh I feel like I have a lot... Sometimes I shave and sometimes I pluck, but either way I always get ingrown hairs. If anyone has gotten electrolysis in this area? If so, is it incredibly painful??
38I've shaved before, it never bothered me...no less scary than shaving 'down there', right? At least I can see my nipples without the aid of a hand mirror!
But I haven't done it in years. They embarrassed me when I was 16 and thought every last hair and freckle mattered. Now, I have better things to worry about than 5 or 6 rogue hairs. I'd still shave if I ever felt the need to, though.
Tell this guy to f* off. Making you worry about something as silly as NIPPLE HAIR. Puh-lease. Does he think armpits don't smell and that all girls are lesbians, too?
39Wax, honey. Couple wax strips, 20 seconds and done.
40I thought I only had a few strays but when I started electrolysis, I realized how much I really did have. I guess bc there are different growth cycles? I don't know, I'm just repeating what I've been told. I've only gotten electrolysis in this area and it barely hurt. I guess I'm not that sensitive there.
41Wow, no ... I've never thought of doing this either. Hubby's not grossed out (quite the opposite, haha) by my breasts and neither am I ... so I guess I'm lucky.
42Yeah. : / I can't really help with that, I don't have that problem, so I dunno.
43Oh my goodness, what?
I shave my legs, arms, armpits, wax the hairs on my upper lip and .. my lady parts. =P
I would NEVER take a razor to my breasts, how horrible!!
44Do women have that? I am sorry, but I don't have hair there.
45uhh DO NOT SHAVE THERE!
pluck instead if u need to
46eeek no.. I pluck if I get any but thats it.
47Who would even think to shave their nipples?!!! I don't have dark hairs around my nipples...
48Yikes- a RAZOR? tweezers maybe.....
49Shaving?! Never heard of that. I only rarely get a dark hair or two around there and I just pull them out.
