Some girls never let go of their wish to be princesses, and thanks to designer Kristie Kelly, they don't have to. The Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouwad collection, shown at Bridal Week in New York, features six engagement rings and wedding bands that pay homage to Disney's leading princesses.

The engagement rings, named after Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, and Belle are supposed to be "subtle references to the personalities of each princess." For example, the baguettes and clean lines of the Ariel ring are supposed to reference the bold style of art deco and Ariel's "bold individuality."
Although I was never a fan of princesses, have no plans of getting married anytime soon, and would feel sheepish taking a leap into adulthood wearing a Disney-inspired engagement ring, I do fancy the look of the Sleeping Beauty ring. What do you feel about this collection?

John Lewis
too cute, but for the sake of Disney, there should be bigger rocks! LOL
1Very beautiful =) I love jasmine's one ^^
2just another moneymaker. They're all classic designs, so they work
3It's a cute idea, but none of those ring suit my fancy.
4I've never really seen any rings I've thought are really amazing, but I absolutely LOVE the Cinderella ring!
5Pretty. But Sleeping Beauty has a name, and I'm always irritated when people don't use it.
6I love Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella! They're really pretty. And it's not like anyone would really *know* they were inspired by the Disney princesses unless you told them, so what's wrong with it?
7I think they are pretty. I would love to be a princess.
8Eh, they're just like any other ring
9I think they are ok rings, but even if I loved one I wouldn't buy it because what grown woman wants a Dinsey Princess ring? Pathetic.
10The rings are pretty, but the Jasmine one is the only one that has much personality. I'm guessing they are not worth the Disney price tage.
11*tag
12It's Kirstie Kelly, Tres, not Kristie Kelly .... I only know because we share a first name ;] She also designs wedding dresses based off the Disney Princess line.
None of the rings are my cup of tea (I want a very simple solitaire), but they are pretty. I don't think they scream Disney in any way, and I certainly don't think it's at all pathetic.
13They also have Disney Princess themed wedding dresses. My best friend oodles over them constantly...
not for me.
14I love the Cinderella ring.
15if i really had to choose 1, i'll have the sleeping beauty.
but a nice solid solitaire is what i want.
16so pretty, I love the snow white and cinderella one.
17The little girl inside of me is giggling and smiling uncontrollably. I'd love an Ariel or a Belle.
18I love Belle's ring! It's so gorgeous! I don't mind that it's Disney inspired, if it's a beautiful ring who really cares who inspired it?
19Pretty. Snow White is my favorite.
20Why do people have this idea that you can't love Disney if you're an adult? I'm pretty sure I like Disney movies more now than I was a kid. I've been to Disney World 14 times from when I was 5 until now and I can say my last trip was definitely the best. We're going again in two months for our honeymoon. I still like playing dress-up on Halloween and decorating my office with stuffed animals. If I'm a responsible person with a 401K, does it really matter?
I like the Ariel ring.
21WHY IS THE JASMINE RING SO FUGLY?????
22I love them too. I don't get why people think it's pathetic. I'm happy to have a child-like spirit about me, I love that I am youthful and fun-loving and can find beauty in most things. Who cares what inspired the ring? It's not like they each have a picture of the corresponding princess on them in pink plastic lol. I like them all, but my 2 favorites are Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.
23Love them!
I would adore owning the Ariel one!
24I like the Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella ring.I don't think there is anything wrong with liking princesses.I think the rings are pretty.
25As long as I'd get a ring on my finger, I wouldn't care where the inspiration for it's design came from! But I've been married for 13 years! They're all lovely, but the Sleeping Beauty ring has been done a million times, it's not terribly original!
26i don't know...maybe i'm ridiculous, but i like the idea of having my own ring, designed by my husband, for me alone...these are all fine and i have no problem with the concept, exactly, but i wouldn't really like the thought of knowing i had the same exact ring on my finger as thousands of other women...surely someone out there has something very, very close to my own engagement ring, but i've yet to meet her and i like it that way...obviously a straight up solitaire is going to have a twin somewhere, but they have a gorgeous simplicity that makes up for it
27i love them! the cinderella and sleeping beauty rings especially.
28I love them! I couldn't even decide which one I like best. It's not like there's a rhinestone Mickey Mouse on it, so no one would know these are Disney inspired anyway. It's great way to be a kid at heart without looking foolish.
29i feel sorry for whoever ends up with the jasmine ring...that thing is heinous.
30Not at all what I was expecting. It's cute and not hokey at all! One does not conjure up images of Disney characters when you look at those rings.
I particularly love the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty one.
31
disney rings are inspired by some of the most beautiful love stories ever, no one
said you have to buy one. they jvst asked if you liked them
32I like the Jasmine ring - I don't think it's hideous at all! Although I'd rather wear it as a right-hand diamond than as a wedding ring. I like Sleeping Beauty too, although I've seen many rings designed like that already and I have a diamond pendant that would match perfectly.
I'm with Jelibeann, my husband designed my rings and I'm pretty sure I'll never come across another with the same ring as me. I love that he took the time to design something with my favorite elements (marquis cut and baguettes).
33Can i have the sleeping beauty !!!! i love them
34Aurora's ring is the best
I don't think I'd care if the ring was called "Homicidal Maniac" if it's a beautiful ring, I'd take it-
35I found my future engagement ring lol.
36I dont think the rings make me think disney at all, other than the Jasmine one, the rings could swap with eachother and no one would be the wiser. They all look like rings I have seena million times before. The saif, I love the sleeping beauty one, BTW her name is Aurora.
37I'm undecided. I absolutely can't stand it when grown women are totally into Disney like that, but it's not like the rings have princesses on them. So I guess if I didn't tell anyone about the origin, I'd wear one of them.
38I will take the Sleeping Beauty, er, Aurora, ring.
39Hm...I picked "Love it" because they really aren't Disney themed. Yeah, maybe they are inspired by Disney, but it's not like they are pink with butterflies on it or anything.
And I don't think that any woman, no matter how old, should feel ashamed for like Disney anyways. You like what you like, and no one else really should have any say in that.
40They don't really strike me as childish. In fact, I think they look very sophisticated, they're a lot more interesting than the typical diamond solitaire that everyone has. I like Sleeping Beauty's and Cinderella's the best.
41Interesting results... I like the Snow White and Cinderella ones though.
42Lovely designs.
As for JKAT, you shouldn't always share your opinion.
43You throw the word "pathetic" around very loosely, which is something that a grown women wouldn't do.
Really cute rings but if you want a more formal one, go for tungsten wedding bands.
44When I first saw the title, I thought it was a lame idea to have a Disney wedding ring, but then I saw the rings and they are just pretty, classic rings. It's not like you'd be waling around with an enamel Cinderella head on your finger so it's fine. It's just marketing.
45I LOVE them. They seem affordable too. I like the Cinderella and Belle rings the most. I'm a huge Disney fan, I grew up not far from Disneyland and a few years ago I started buying annual passes. Sadly, I moved to Texas in September, but I miss my favorite place on earth
I have
classic Disney prints that I plan on hanging up soon. I would love a Tiki themed room.
46Belle was my favorite princess growing up!!! It kind of makes me happy that her ring is my favorite lol
47The Belle ring is the most beautful, though i like Cinderella's and Jasmine's as well
