During the 2008 election, Oprah declined to welcome sensational VP-candidate Sarah Palin to her couch. The talk show host and very public Barack Obama supporter said she wouldn't have any candidate on her show until the election was over. Now that the election seems like ages ago and Sarah Palin has a new book to hawk, the two will finally have a chat when Oprah interviews Palin on her Nov. 16 show.

I can't wait to tune in to this interview! While Palin makes it clear that she disdains the media's "liberal bias," Oprah hasn't been so shy about having one. Are you excited to see Oprah go rogue with Sarah Palin?

yes!
1**** yes!
I don't watch Oprah. I can see the allure, but the whole spectacle seems maudlin to me. But, I will make an exception for this. I predict a very softball interview, with Palin bringing her horror show of a personality disorder for all to see.
2Ooooh so NOW Oprah will allow politicians to go on her show now that Obama is nicely seated in the White House.
3Um no since I'm not into her show, regardless who comes to visit/the topic. But most likely both my mom and mom-in-law will let me know what's going on LOL.
4They LOVE her show.
Poor Palin.. grasping to stay relevant until the next election.
5Totally agree, Running.
6No.
And yes, I agree with Running, too.
7i'll youtube-it whenever I'm bored.
8Here's the thing--I'm conservative. And even I don't like Palin! To be honest, there is just something about her that I don't trusty. She seems like a big phony.
9No, I'm not into Oprah or her show either, doesn't matter who she has on.
10I love Oprah. I consider myself a more moderate conservative and I also dislike Palin. So what if Oprah openly supported Obama. She never claimed to be a "fair and balanced" show. I barely consider her the "media" anyways. I trust Oprah will ask some good questions.
11I love Oprah and although I don't like Palin, I am excited to see the interview. I am interested to see how they interact with one another, what questions are asked, the reaction afterwards, etc.
As far as Oprah not having Palin on during the election, what's the drama? Oprah has never had any politicans on her show while they were running for office, not even Obama, that was when he was still a senator promoting his book before he announced he was running.
It's a win-win for both women, moreso for Palin. Oprah gets high ratings, Sarah gets a big boost in book sales, more publicity and taps into Oprah's vast female viewing audience. If Palin is serious about moving forward in politics she needs all the support from women she can get.
12Nope, just want Palin to go away. Don't watch Oprah at any other time, never have, never will. It seems to be like a cult.
13No, because Palin will do the same thing she every time she's interviewed, she will run away from the questions and not answer anything directly, or coherently. And I highly doubt any of Oprah's questions will be "hard hitting", probably just the pre-agreed upon ones Palin's camp will purpose before the interview. Big deal, you can find that information out by surfing Google or Wikipedia.
14Palin, you were a joke during the election and you are no longer relevant, please go away.
Jesus. When I look at these two women, I have to wonder if they are in a liberal media competition for the best weave. Lovely.
15Can't wait to see if Palin's learned how to answer a simple question.
16I only watch Oprah when she features celebs I like - Which is rare. Too bad it's the WRONG Palin.
17-
Thought it was going to be Tina Fey!
No way.
18Nope, because it would be a wasted hour within my day.
19Two huge egos on a couch saying nothing I care about = no.
Palin. You're done. Get a hobby.
20*A hobby OTHER than talking too much
21Yes! You all may be surprised. Sarah's biggest problem is she is too good looking. "Pretty People are dumb" Remember Hedy Lamar who was considered the most beautiful woman in the world at the time. She invented weapons systems for the navy which they rejected because she "too good looking to have a brain". We still use her ideas in our cell phones. Sarah was plucked from a job she could handle and had the national job thrust upon her. Wait till you see what she can do with a little study. Maybe a Ruth Ginsberg" makeover would help.
22YOU BETCHA LOVE HER . she is not your typical politican. she actually cares about people. she is for peoples rights. i
