According to Myers-Briggs personality test, we are either naturally introverted or extraverted. It doesn't necessarily mean you either prefer hanging out with other people or by yourself - rather it refers to the determination of your source of energy. Check out this chart and tell me if you are an introvert or extravert.

It completely depends on the situation as to which category I fall into. I can run either side of the spectrum.
Im definetly an introvert...
I'm an introvert with moments of extravert. For example, last night I just kept talking and talking and talking while enjoying company. Very unlike me.
I'm introverted when around new people, but one I get to know them or if I am around friends then I'm more an extrovert.
Im almost totally an extravert according to that small quick test.
I'm primarily an extravert, but I think growing up as an only child and being left on my own a lot gave me a few introverted qualities as well. I mean, I love being around people, but I also don't mind doing things on my own and can appreciate being by myself. I used to be really uncomfortable with my introverted tendencies - I was comfortable being alone, but I felt like I shouldn't be, I guess - but as I've grown up I've realized that it's okay to be an introverted extravert sometimes.
i'm both an extrovert and an introvert, depending on the circumstances. many folks are introverted extroverts or extroverted introverts.
It really depends on where I am and who I'm around, I'm what they call an ambivert!
Definitely introverted.
I always thought that I belonged to a minority of introverts- dats alot of introverts!
I'm both.
I am definately extraverted!

I took the test on this website

Definitely introverted!
Introvert unless I'm in Vegas! Wahoo!
mostly everything is extroverted, except i don't ming being alone sometimes either.
I've been an introvert all my childhood, but finding that I am shifting a little more to the extraverted side as I get older...
I'm introverted
i vote introvert only because i identified with 5 things on that list against 4 on the other. Could i be the 2?????
i fall into both groups
i'm defintitely introverted. kind of frustrating because my quietness is sometimes interpreted as b*tchiness or snobbiness by people who don't know me well.
I consider myself both because if you get me one on one or something I am shy and meek. If you get me in class, I am very verbal and will speak up to be heard.
I tend to go back and forth with each in different circumstances and with how I am feeling and such. It's odd.
I plop myself in the middle!
shockingly enough, i'm an pure introvert. i only talk to people i'm close to, in real life. they're the only ones who know anyhting about me. i'm a hugely private person.
Mostly introvert. I'm not a good listener, and I can't concentrate well.
I am introverted except for the concentration thing because I suck at concentrating for long periods of time.
What if I am about half of both, lol, weird.
definitely introverted. i wish i was more outgoing :\
i'm definitely an extrovert in real life and in voicing my opinion on this site (Group Therapy anyone?).
however, i don't like to give too many details about myself away on this site. a lot of people like to list their daily blogs of activities and problems and that's cool and whatnot but that's just not me. i'd rather that not be on the internet, know what i mean?
i think everybody tends to be a balance of both depending on mood and situation.
nicachica, i'm with you there.
all anyone can tell from reading my profile is my age, which state i live in, and my interests. that's it. i haven't told anyone my name or any other personal details about my life. if i really wanted to open, there would be so much to tell, you wouldn't believe but i'm not here to make serious, real-life friends per se. i've met some truly awesome people but i've made far too many mistakes in the past on the net that i've learned from. it's just not worth it anymore. i love the Sugar sites and the people rock but i'm just here to kick back. i used to have TONS of internet friends who knew everything about me. now i only have one and that's because i've known him for a few years and he's one of the coolest people you could ever meet, in person or online. he still doesn't know everything about me but he's a good listener and we talk about alot of non-serious, nonsensical subjects. just some good ol' fun.
i am the poster child for extroverts.
i'm pretty much an introvert. i married an extrovert and we totally click!
People tell me I'm an introvert but I can be extroverted, depending on the situation.
Def. introvert!
I've taken the Myers-Briggs Personality Test. I'm an INFJ. (1% of people are INFJ's -- leave it to me to be one of the odd ones!) I think the test is right: I am naturally introverted. I can, however, be extraverted when I have to be, most notably at work.
I'm an INFP. i love the meyers briggs. but then again i have a psych degree so i love almost all of the tests dealing with personality.
ive read books and books about this...i find it so interesting for some reason!
