The copy for this ad doesn't really make much sense. This scowling man says he doesn't care about the length of his cigarette, but then goes on to declare that Winston Super Kings give him the extra length he wants. So, maybe in the end size does matter? I'm confused.

Givenchy
Tommy Hilfiger
Alexander McQueen
it lasts longer if the cigarette is longer.... i think
1Cigarettes were being made longer(a millimeter or so)at that time. The price went up too...I think Virginia Slims came out first, and the rest followed the longer length.
2Yes, this ad must be a response to a longer cigarette like Virginia Slims. I don't smoke but it does seem a bit funny to elude to length not being important. Are we all supposes to get that one or what?
3I smoke Winston 100s. They recently stopped making soft packs and now just have boxes but when they had the soft packs I always bought those instead because (and I have no idea why) the filter was slightly longer on the boxed ones. Maybe the length he wants here is length of cigarette to filter? It does change the smoke when you have a longer filter.
4when i smoked years ago, we would get those Capri's for fun. They were SO funny to smoke because you were done with it in about 2 minutes and then you had to immediately have another one cause it tasted like absolute air.
5fire the editors!! obvious goof
