If men listened to television ads, they'd think that smaller was better (BK Burger Bites), that women love the smell of rancid cologne (Axe), and that you can cover up the fact that you haven't bathed or washed your sheets in ages (Febreze). Not only that, but they'd think that really hot chicks don't just put up with that stuff — they looove it! (And we wonder why men and women have trouble knowing what the other half wants.)

I would like to think men are smarter than the advertising style most companies are resorting to today, but alas I have been proven wrong repeatedly. I noticed even my dad bought some new shaving cream that played commercials on the hockey network and had some hot women running around with some space type suits and shaving cream on a guys face. Men think that Axe attracts women too, but I honestly can't stand when a man drenches himself in that spray. Just shower and use soap. I love the smell of a MAN. Plus, biologically, women are attracted to natural smells a man's body emits so why would you want to mask that? Kinda counteracts the whole purpose. I try to let all of my guy friends in on this secret, but the Axe type companies are really making out big time with the sex appeal commercials.
1Bahaha! This reminded me of the time my brother was asking me for "dating advice" and I randomly asked him if he wore any cologne and he responded with "yea, axe" and I lol-ed for a bit...
2Oh god-there's this guy who sits behind me in one of my classes who practically bathes in the stuff...I can smell him coming from a mile away!! It's literally like a sucker punch to the gut.
