I went to a Merle Norman boutique to be measured. I was measured at a II. Yes, you read that correctly. A double I.
Is it too much to ask for these stores to realize that there are women who need cups bigger than a DDD??!? I go into Lane Bryant to try to find something, and it's like I'm searching for the Ark of the Covenant! I'm sick of trying to get by with these flimsy things. Maybe I should go to Macy's, but I'm not holding out any hope.
sigh.
1I am pregnant with my first child, and my size has ballooned to a 32F. I had to go to a specialty boutique to be properly measured and fitted. But, I find it very frustrating that my size basically does not exist at places like Target and Victoria's Secret. Even my pre-pregnancy size (32D) was hard to find anywhere but specialty stores. It is absolutely true that a proper fit makes all the difference, but how can people afford a proper fit if most places don't carry a wide enough range of sizes?
2This problem never seems to get resolved for me! I'm so tired of ill fitting bras, no matter the price!!!
3OMg the woman on the Macy's fit guide video makes me want to never go to Macy's for a bra fitting! HER VOICE!
