In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz opens up about work and worrying. She says:
I've always been a worrier. Since I was a little girl I've always felt that if I had a moment of peace I'd wonder: Are you sure you can afford to feel like this?
I can totally relate to this sentiment. As I've gotten older I've tried to remember that while a healthy level of anxiety can help me keep my priorities straight, needless worries can sabotage moments of pleasure and peace. What about you?

I cant stand how much I worrie. oh well....
1I take worrying to new heights.
2I wouldn't say her quote describes me perfectly, but I do worry my pants off. My husband says it's going to kill me some day. I'm a news junkie, also like to watch AMW and after watching these things I get really jittery and think about how the wold is turning for the worse.
3I worry so much. If my sister is visiting me and is supposed to be there at 5:30 and its 5:40 I start freaking out and thinking she died in a crash or something. I can't help myself.
4Gosh, that's not me at all.
I will say this. The current economic climate has made me worry a lot more than I used to.
5I used to be a huge worrier, however, I've learned not to be, and no longer worry unnecessarily.
6I used to worry to the extreme about everything and anything until they removed my thyroid and regulated my hormones.
Now I only worry a little about the normal crap I'm supposed to be worried about.
7totally agree with Kimpossible, I used to be debilitated by worrying or anxiety, and have just learned to "let go and let God" and focus on the good things
8Sometimes, but I try not to worry needlessly. I would focus my energy to resolve what's worrying me, instead of stressing about it. Once I think I've done the best I can, I let the anxiety go.
9Yes, I am horrible. My husband always gets onto me about this, but I can't help it. It is a trait that has been passed down in my family and has actually gotten less each generation. I am less of a worrier than my mother was.
10yes but am trying not to be such a worrywort.
what's that quote? worrying is like being in a rocking chair... gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere or something like taht !
11I worry a lot. I'm always anxious about something coming up, like due dates for projects or paying bills or a new task I'm going to have to do. I have thought about taking anti-anxiety medication for it, but I also attribute my worrying to my success. If I didn't care so much then I wouldn't get anything done. It's not always a bad thing IMO.
12I worry all the time. Both my boyfriend and myself find it incredibly annoying.
13I don't worry about things. I have no place for added stress in my life.
I am concerned about people and things, but I do not stress myself out over it.
14I too worry a lot. I also over analyze things. Deadly combination. Add in a little anexity and I'm a mess at times. I'm trying to take on a glass half full mentality, and let things go easier. it's hard, but one day at a time.
15If worrying was an olympic sport, I'd be a 5-time gold medalist. It's bad. I get crazily stressed over things that don't merit that much worry!
16I'm very good at making mountains out of mole hills. Though I have become better at managing my anxiety, since I used to have full out panic attacks. Now I'm just a little stressed.
17If I were in her shoes I'd worry that my tiny tiny strap breaks!!!!
18I used to worry a lot about things that I couldn't control. Now, I've accepted I can't control everything and don't make myself crazy worrying.
19Yes, I worry a lot. Sometimes it interferes with my daily activities.
20I've always called worrying my "besetting sin"!
21I love that she said this, because I can understand where she's coming from. It sucks, but I worry about everything. Useless things get too many hours of attention from me. Oh, man, I wish I could just let go and not worry but it seems like it's my shadow, always there.
