About 64 percent of TrèsSugar readers say they worry about how they look during sex. Apparently similar concerns are driving women to drink before they hop in the sack.
A new UK survey reveals that one in 20 women never have had sex while they were sober due to insecurities about their bodies.
Some other stats (which range from obvious to eye-opening):
- 75 percent of the women said it's easier to go wild after a couple of drinks.
- 40 percent of the women said they were always tipsy when they slept with someone for the first time.
- Almost 50 percent said they enjoy sex better after a few drinks.
- 14 percent of women in relationships said they cannot sleep with their partner unless they've had a couple drinks.

Never had sex sober? Geez. I have *never* had good sex while drunk -- ever. I have never gotten good sleep period after I drink. After drinks, my BF just can't perform, so yeah. Hence why we stopped drinking and trying to have sex.
Drunk sex is the worst. If you have never had sex sober...wow. You're probably missing out.

Ha, my husband won't have sex if I'm tipsy and especially not if I'm drunk. We're always sober - and lights are always on! It's more fun that way.
3I think I had been drinking my first time, and I believe I told my boyfriend at the time, "I don't think I'm drunk enough." Awesome! But I was so nervous and alcohol lowers your inhibitions. It's definitely not a necessity for me anymore.

9I was sober the first time I had sex. I love me some drunk sex because it's just so fun and dirty. I agree with Weffie, it's not so good for having an orgasm though. Sober sex is way better as far as climaxing goes, but drunk sex has it's perks too.
10Wow, never really thought about this before. I've only had drunk sex a handful of times and it was lots of fun, but not as sexually satisfying as the crazy passionate sex a couple can have while only drunk on love.
