American Express coined the term excellently -- never leave home without it, so what don't you leave home without? Since it's clear we all have our unique getting ready routines, you've gotta have a packing of the purse routine as well! No matter what size my handbag is for the day or night, I always have the same few important items with me: gum, BlackBerry, my wallet, keys, a lip gloss and an eyeliner -- so ladies, do tell, what don't you leave home without?

99% of the time I have my Box Cutter for work...I never take it out even when I'm not at work because I'll forget it at home.
46I'm a writer, so therefore my pad and pencil is a must. I have all different sizes for the different places that I go. Laptops can't go everywhere. And when you have a spare of the moment idea, phrase, or anything spontaneous then I want to write it down pronto.
