All of my happiest childhood sense memories come from the fall. The crispness in the air, apples, cinnamon, firewood, pumpkins, hay rides and getting ready for Halloween and the Holiday Season. It makes me so happy! I just wish that these days I lived in place where you can break out the boots and scarves and peacoats. Florida sucks like that.
1Toss up between summer and early fall.
2I get in the best mood when fall rolls around! I love the cool air, changing leaves, and activities that come with the season.
3I used to live in NJ, where the summers are very hot and humid, and the winters were very cold. The cold weather was just bone chilling, and each time it would be around the 20's, and windchill of around 5 degrees, it would just completely make every single inch of my body get extremely painful. I welcomed the summer, since its only a few months of heat, and then right back to snow and coldness.
Now, I live in the deep south...where it's hot pretty much all year round. Seriously, in 2009, we had maybe 1 month of what I would consider cold. It was hardly ever under 45 degrees, and usually it was around 45-50 degrees in the winter! The leaves didn't even fall off the trees until late November/early December. As soon as spring starts, it seemed to skip ya know 60's, and shot up straight to 75-80 ish. It's so miserable!
Sow now...I like fall and winter the best. By far.
4Fall is my favorite. I don't really love the time of year (summer's over, back to school/work, winter is around the corner), but I think it's the prettiest season. I just wish we had more of one where I live. It tends to snow before the leaves can turn brown. And I have Thanksgiving and Halloween to look forward to
5Fall would definitely be my favorite season, but it means that the bitter-cold Iowa winter is coming all too soon!
6The smell of sharpened pencils. =)
7I love late fall with all of the family holidays and winter. Winter is my favorite, and i LOVE everything. The cold air, the snow, the ice, having to bundle up to the point of annoyance.. so much fun. We are moving back to Florida before winter this year and although i'm excited about the move, i'm really really really sad I'm going to miss winter.
8I love the colors of Fall.
9Definitely fall. I love the trees changing colors and being able to wear my peacoat. I also associate it with returning to school, something that I find very enjoyable.
10It's a tie between summer and fall for me.
11Summer without a doubt. I was born in it and I love everything about it! Going on holiday, the sun, ice cream, wearing t-shirts and shorts, blue sky...
12I love Spring. After a long, cold, miserable winter,
13I love the sights & smells of the earth renewing itself.
The trees are starting to get green, Crocus & daffodils are blooming.
You get to shed your heavy winter coat.
And most importantly, the possibilities of love are in the air
I used to be a strictly Winter girl because I was born and raised in Philadelphia. I loved the cold, snow, and the chance to wear fabulous coats and boots.
However, now in my thirties, I appreciate Fall/Autumn a lot more. It's my favorite now.
Since I live in Southern CA, I do not care for Spring or Summer anymore as I don't really get a break from them here.
14Summer is my favorite. I hate everything about the winter. Spring and fall are just ok. I love the warm weather and long days of summer. I could live the rest of my days in the summer.
15Can't choose! I love the long summer nights, love the colours and smell of fall, love the cold and ice of winter, love the flowers of spring...too much to choose from.
I used to say summer, since then's my birthday, but every season has it's holidays and festivities that I really look forward to, so I'll just stick to the fact that I love each and every one of them!
16Florida snow, you described it perfectly!
17love it summer is my birth season
18I love all seasons. Each season has it's qualities. I can't decide which I love more.
19I'm going to go with the majority on this one... fall is my favourite. Once the frost comes everything that makes me itchy and sneezy dies
20Seeing as I'm from England the Summers that we have here aren't really that hot. We always seem to get the best weather April/May/June and in September. (Basically Spring and Early Autumn) Out of these two seasons I have voted for Autumn as the colours are amazing.
21I'm on the fall bandwagon! I love all of the colors of the trees/ plants, the fall food (Squash, apples, etc), even the fashion (cute shorts and sweaters). I too relate a lot of good memories to the fall; playing in a pile of leaves, my sister and I decorating the outdoor trees, my neighbor and I finding the best apple tree in their yard so that they could pick the apples to make pie. I feel like lighting an apple cinnamon candle right now!!!
22Fall for me too. Love the cool air, color of the trees... the fashion!
23SUMMER!
I live in Colorado
, so fall=Cold, Winter=Colder, Spring=Coldest and lots of snow. Therefore, Summer is the best, the only
time of year where you dont HAVE to have a coat on. Shorts, skirts, raincoats, sandals, dresses, bathing suits all in summer. Ice cream, swimming, sun, rafting, outdoor volleyball, all
outdoor activities are for a short time only and that's memorial day through labor day. So sad its over!
I hate the cold with a passion!
24spring i get to see all the flowers bloom
25uh, not to be a party-pooper, but technically fall doesn't start until september 22nd
