"Until you actually have that conversation," she says, "there's always that little part of you that thinks, maybe we'll get back together. Let's face it. Getting back together with an ex is like throwing milk in the garbage and three days later thinking . . . maybe it'll be better this time around." Have you ever had to quit smoking? This sounds cool. But I usually take up smoking after a break up.
1Hmm. Sounds kinda silly. But who knows. My husband quit for me. Two reasons why: 1. His father died of throat cancer. His dad smoked. His dad died a horrible slow death in a hospital. The doctors toward the end carved out half his tongue. 2. I told him I would never enjoy kissing him again. That his mouth was like licking an ashtray. One time I gagged and I threw up in a garbage can after he smoked and kissed me. Then he quit.
