Following in the footsteps of the news anchor who refused to report on Paris a while back, this guy doesn't want to utter the words "Lindsay Lohan" ever again. Justified? Perhaps. But I can't say I wasn't all up in her business yesterday like everyone else. The way I see it, responsible citizens need to know which drunken celebs to watch out for on the roads at night-- right?! It's a matter of public safety, really.

1I think it's a little ridiculous that many of these stories about in-need-of-help celebrities end up as the top news story..
2He is just a copycat. The woman from MSNBC set that paris story on fire!
And yes, the fact that some producer at MSNBC wants to lead with paris and at CNN wants to lead with LL is a very said statement about the news broadcasting business in this country.
BBC world news is the way to go if your system gets it.
3i think is right, he is not working at E NEWS or Access Hollywood, for him this is not news.
4He's totally just trying to make a name for himself like the chick from MSNBC. I agree that insane celebs shouldn't be the lead stories, but you should deal with that kind of problem behind the scenes, not in the middle of a broadcast. It's completely unprofessional. I can't see Peter Jennings throwing a hissy fit on the air the way these people do.
5I think he’s just tire of them just like everyone else. There are more important issues out there that anchors and etc…should be reporting to us. We have to bounce all over the Internet sometimes, just to find out about the real news that’s going on around us.
