I said true love. Has anyone ever tried the "give up sex completely for a while so you can focus on other parts of your relationship" thing? I'm doing it, and its amazing. It really makes you realize why you love your bf/gf, as in, an emotional not physical way. Because (at least I think) isn't that the most important part of a relationship. When your old and sex isn't so important anymore, what will be left? hopefully that emotional relationship. Sorry to rant a little, lol, I just LOVE having that emotional love/cuddliness without the sexual part at all, between us. Its super amazing.

my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years and i are abstaining from sex until marriage and he even said, 'it doesn't mean i love you any less, but we're not really ready for it at this point' which i totally agree. it's nice not having that pressure and getting to know the different things about him. i think i learn so much more from him daily.

Sometimes I joke around that I would love to trade places with my cats, and just live my life napping, being pampered, and having my every need attended to. The only thing is, they're neutered - so no sex! They do cuddle like crazy, though.

Definitely a lifestyle change... such as seeking a religious life... would be the only reason I would give up sex. But not completely give it up! No sex til after marriage of course haha. Luckily Protestant pastors/ministers/reverends can get married.
