Well, Betty already spilled the beans on her blog, but today we'll get to read how it all goes down when Archie Marries Veronica: "The Proposal" hits comic book stores.
That's right: one of the world's most comically long love triangles is coming to an end with the latest issue of Archie comics, which will be the first in a six-part wedding series. For more than 60 years, the endearing Archie character has gone back and forth between perky blond Betty and sophisticated, dark-haired Veronica, to whom he finally pops the question. But as the creators point out, a six-book series leaves room for plot twists.
Did you read the Archie and Betty & Veronica comics as a kid? I'll admit I was always a Veronica girl. Do you think Archie is making the right choice?

6I kind of was like Archie, I couldn't choose, although I thought Veronica looked better (since I was a kid then, I thought she looked better because she had dark hair LOL).

I like both Betty and Veronica. I predict Archie will ultimately choose Betty while Veronica will end up with Reggie. Actually, I could have it either way but I'm shocked that 'Archie' is coming to an end!

9My dad always bought us Archie comics. My brother and I fought a lot because of them. I've always liked Veronic more so Archie's decision to marry her really does make me happy.

16Veronica was a spoiled brat, Betty was a pushover, and Archie was the douche bag playing them both since 1950, haha. They all deserve each other!
17Caterpillar, Jughead was always more of a fan of Betty and Archie together... he thought Veronica was materialistic. I was OBSESSED with these comics from about 5 years old to 15 -- I had an entire bookshelf full. And I was much more on Betty's side, I'll be heartbroken if Archie marries Veronica!
18Betty sucks. She's your standard pretty but vapid heroine. Veronica is darker, more selfish and flawed, but also has a big heart. She's a much more compelling character to me. I say Veronica all the way, but I know the kind of maudlin audience that Archie attracts will be satisfied with nothing but a Betty ending.
