Did you all watch Victoria Beckham's show on Monday night, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America? I was glued to the TV in utter amazement -- she isn't the stuck up, robotic, diva that I thought she was! Shocking I know if you didn't watch! So that got me thinking, the only reason why I put Posh in that category in the first place was because I was judging her book by its cover if you will.
I hear people say over and over again that celebrities deserve the constant scrutiny because they put themselves out there, and while I agree to an extent, sometimes we just don't know these celebrities real character traits. So ladies, do you judge Hollywood types by the person the paparazzi make them out to be?

I admit that I do sometimes.
1You can always tell certain things by photos. You can tell someone parties, if you see pics of them partying. You can tell if they care about fashion by seeing what they wear. You can tell if they like playing with knives, too, in some cases.
But with Victoria all her photos are of her just looking unhappy walking around. I would probably look the same way if I had cameras following me all the time. I'm glad she's funny and has a sense of humor, but yeah, you wouldn't necessarily guess that from her pics.
2I firmly believed that the pictures of b*tchy celebs meant they were b*tchy people. Victoria has proved me wrong! She always looked so grumpy and stuck up, but she's just a sweetheart! She pulled the wool off my eyes!
3People so often change the way they project themselves depending on their environment. The only way to truly discover who a person is to take the time to find out more about them yourself.
4that's funny cuz i never really thought Posh was stuck up per say, but that it was a public persona. you never really heard crazy stories about her except for her love of shopping but whenever i read of her encounters with "regular" people, i only heard nice things. i think she never smiled because she has a bit of a weird smile and i heard she's really self-conscious of it. but really, it doesn't look that bad!
it's stars like Jessica Alba, Naomi Campbell, Gwenyth Paltrow, etc. who are well-known to be snobby, stuck-up b*tches where yes, i will believe the hype, although i'm sure a lot of those stories were overhyped!
5I always judge by a look, but I wouldn't necessarily stick to it if I got to know someone.
6I have to admit that I sometimes do. I was really surprised when I saw that interview with Victoria with the two little Italian boys. She was really fun and funny.
7I really try to give people (or celebs) the benefit of the doubt but sometimes I fall victim to tabloid depictions.
8I admit that i do sometimes judge people by how they look. I do try to get to know people more after i meet them so i should really try harder not to judge. I especially noticed that with the Victoria Beckham special. I thought she was going to be a total bitty but i found myself totally loving her. She seemed so sweet and down to earth.
9Yeah, I sometimes judge. I try not to however I'm guity of it. It's hard not to but I'm really trying to be better about not judging people until I know them. I know people judge me and I don't like it, so why would I do that to someone else?
10I try not to judge by the "cover". With celebrities, it's hard though. It's not like I'm gonna see them after work at the grocery store, (unless you live in CA) so it's hard to determine if they are as they are portrayed. I do think that "young hollywood" nowdays does make an attempt to purposely put themselves in the spotlight, therefore putting themselves under the media microscope. And I'm sorry, if I were a *starlet* and discovered that all the negative crap about me was a result of being photgraphed out all the time at bars and coming home late and getting out of the car with my crotch hanging out, I'd certainly find a way to have fun without putting myself "out there" as it were. I think to some extent, they thrive on the media attention. OMG, did I just make a judgement about someone I don't know based on what I read or see??????? CRAP.
11I love all 4 of these b*tches. xo
12No, we don't really know them. we have no idea... thinking otherwise is just plain dumb.
13i sometimes do judge. but once i get to know them, i lose the first impression.
14i used to, but i don't anymore, i'v elearned how wrong you can be, i definitely get to know poepl before making assumptions
15If I had people following my every move and writing lying tabloids, and I had to try to forget all that to memorize a hundred pages of lines and become someone else for thirty takes of the same scene, I would be SUCH a b!7@# most of the time.
16I am guilty of judging a book by its character i must admit......even though in the back of our minds we know its probably made up because tabloids like to BS...you cant help but tink i bet thats what that person is really like...
However ive always liked Victoria.....ive seen so many of her interviews and documentaries and they all just reinforce the fact that she is really sweet............she doesnt smile in photos...BIG DEAL.......
17Lmao i meant *by its cover lol
18sometimes Yes
but many occasions i get to 2 know them i change my attitude
19sadly,yess.
20i just cant help myself!
