Celebrities are constantly being interviewed and the general public seems to be getting more and more obsessed with their responses to the tough questions. We want to believe them when they say, "Oh, I never worry about my weight, I am just blessed with good genes" or "I used to sit at home alone on Saturday nights when all my friends would be out on dates" but I think it is fair to say we all want to scream YEAH RIGHT!!! So ladies, what I want to know is, what do you think is the most bogus and annoying celebrity statement?

Rebecca Taylor
Tomster
Polo Ralph Lauren
Blah! they lie about eating whatever they want!
1the first one for sure.. like common.. even if you do eat whatever you want.. atleast tell people you maybe work out a little bit!! haha
2i actuallly believe if they say they are the ugly duckling thingy because usually after they become more famous there is greater access to make-up experts and of cos being able to afford surgery to enhance their looks.
and i also believe they dun get asked on dates bcos random guys are prolly too intimated by their fame etc...
and maybe they are too insecure so they are afraid of reading stories and reviews about themselves
and i do believe they can get sick of parties except when the celeb in question are the likes of paris hilton
BUT I DUN believe they have high metabolism etc sh*t because they have a whole team of trainers and chefs who make sure they look gorg and also the whole illusion of digital touch ups that make them look good too. so they have to give credit to these pple and their own hard work at the gym...
3I SORT OF believe the metabolism thing, because I've been 105 lbs. for years and I have tried everything I know to GAIN some weight. And it seems like I'm the only person in my family that has a high metabolism. My son has high metabolism, too.
But the whole, "ugly duckling" thing? Yeah right, come on now. If they were THAT ugly, you think a modeling agency would have spotted them? Gimme a break, and stop trying to dig up sympathy for yourself.
4Lies! If you're job is to look good, its not hard to dedicate so much time to working out and hiring a personal chef to cook you great tasting low fat meals ... anyone with time and money can be beautiful and that's what they've got!
5All of the above IMO are pretty much a line of BS.....
6You guys don't believe the ugly duckling thing? I have known a ton of people, myself included, who started to look a lot less awkward and more beautiful as they got older.
7"I'm a serious actress," says Jessica Alba, as she fitted for her leather bikini.
8I think the high metabolism/weight thing gets me the most riled up. I think we all know what someone looks like when they've been eating cigarettes and exlax.
9A few more favorites:
"I don't exercise, I just run around after my toddler."
10"I never wear makeup, I hate it."
"I never thought of myself of beautiful, I think I'm "OK"".
"I refuse to do nude scenes -- unless it's artistic."
"I would never get plastic surgery."
"My breasts? Oh, I went through puberty really quickly."
"I hate to go out to clubs, I'm actually a shy homebody."
"I live a normal life."
"We broke up because of our careers."
The top one definitely. Isn't it funny that all the people with these wondrous fast metabolisms are celebrities. Oh and another that bugs me, is the one Jessica Alba's been throwing around lately "I want to be taken seriously as an actress...not known for my body" blah, blah, blah
11Most annoying to me isn't on here...its "I signed up to act and be an artist, not to be chased by papparazi and have people know my every move." Bullpoopy. Tabloids have been covering celebs for years. If you just wanted to act, do it on broadway where there is little to no media coverage. Nobody forced you to become an actor/actress. You could be a bus driver and nobody would take a picture of you at the gym or of who leaves your house in the morning.
Also, if you hate the press coverage of your relationships-STOP DATING FAMOUS PEOPLE. Go out with a nice accountant or teacher.
I just don't buy the celebs who complain about the paps following them around...plus I think most of them have flackies that call the paps and tell them where they are going to be anyway.
12"I was teased when I was young for being the ugly duckling"
Yea right...my ass
13On this list, definately the first one.
14Not on the list, any Jessica Alba quote about how she isn't sexy. She makes me want to slap her everytime I hear it.
dont go around spreading that you can eat whatever you want! its just makes people like me more angry and stressed and eat more! screw who ever said that! i will kill them!
15The eating thing gets me every time.
16I'm with Cam on this one - neither do I! xo
17darn... i can't stand on every single one f them...
18Masqueraded Angel, I'm the same way. I *want* to gain weight, but to no avail, and I have a diet chock full of carbs! So, I can believe that one...just depends on the celeb.
Eva Longwhoria is one who said she was an "ugly duckling" growing up...honestly don't see the difference now
I'm bad I know!!
19
HAHAHAH FB! Yeah, I don't see the difference now either.
20Ohhh Jenna, don't be a hater!!
You're just jealous!
Seriously though, in sticking with the topic, I find the I'd rather stay home on my couch comment most annoying, I suppose.
21Yeah, they all say that and then you see them on TMZ out at the club. Not that there is anything wrong with that...but don't try to come across as a homebody
22the eating thing gets me too.
23also, for anyone knows who monica belucci is (famous "actress" in europe", i remember her lashing out a while ago about how hard it is to be beautiful.. you know, the men, the flowers on your doorstep every morning, the modeling contracts. god- i'd be angry too!
"I eat whatever I want [and still maintain my skeletal figure]"
This is definitely the worst, and most over-used, celebrity statement. Especially when the celebrity in question happens to be underweight or has lost a considerable amount of weight since becoming famous.
I'd venture to say that the majority of female celebrities maintain their weight through the use of coke, speed, meth, or prescription stimulants (ie: Paris, Lindsay, Nicole, the Olsens). Some have eating disorders or a form of disordered eating (ie: Angelina, Christina Ricci, Victoria Beckham). The minority is comprised of women with fast metabolisms (ie: Gisele, Jessica Alba) & women who work out constantly (ie: Jessica Biel, Fergie post-meth).
24Where is the all of the above option? lol Yeah, but the one that gets me most is the "Ugly Duckling" statement...
25the whole eating thing...
26The first one, definitely - I think it's by far the most likely to be total b.s., even though it's true for some people, it's just not that true for many. The others I can really see being true a lot of the time, so they don't really annoy me, at least not on their own.
27Out of those, the first one. And I hate when they say they weren't planning on going into acting or whatever, it just happened.
28I hated when Cameron Diaz was going around telling people how she's saving the planet by turning off the water when she brushes her teeth. Um, yeah. Then you hop on your private jet with your friends to go party somewhere across the world.
29i just don't like any celeb comments that make them look like a hypocrite for example what Baileybuns said about Cameron Diaz (even though I adore her but still).
30My favorite is when Jessica Alba said that the Hollywood Leading ladies were blond and white, now they are the girl next door, just like her, and MIXED..
LMAO.. So all the leading ladies are mixed now?
Then I love when she talked about being "OK" with one night stands, as long as "he doesn't want to cuddle" in the morning...
My fave is when she says that she wants to be seen as a "SERIOUS ACTRESS".. LMAO.. Every week she is doing a spead for some Men's Magazine in a bikini!!
31I believe the eating thing, She has what you call a banana shape, they do burn calories faster than other shapes. I'm an apple shape and I tend to put on weight very quickly. I'm prone to certain illnesses also.
32celrbs are such bs when they say they are shy and prefer to stay at home, and tat they cant be bothered to put in effort when it comes to looking good!
33i think linds said b4 she prefer to be at home.
34they soooo lie about eating...tho I had this coworker that was skinny as a pen and she would eat and eat and drop the line.."i eat whatever, i have a fast metabolism"...two years later all that eating has caught up to her...now she's always dieting and can't get the lbs. off!...
35"I'd rather stay home on my couch than go out to celebrity parties" ==> I don't believe this one if it's came out from Paris Hilton..seriously I think partying is like breathing for her
36i eat whtaever i want ahhhh
