Blythe15 reminded me that in the early 90's, one of the most baffling dance hits came out called "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)." Catchy dance tune, depressing topic. I mean, is the dance-floor of a club the appropriate place to be weighing in on social problems? I'm just trying to imagine all these coked up, drunk people at a club dancing to the lyrics "She's just like you and me/but she's homeless/she's homeless..." Party on, dude! (Warning: This video features a dancing mime.)

Oh early 90's popstars and they're let's not help homelessness with money, let's help it with dance beats attitude! Bono is clearly going in the wrong direction with his efforts these days
1The beginning of this song sounds like it was composed entirely by one man on a Casio keyboard.
2I am not even gonna lie - I have this song on my I-Pod!
3Brave woman, Talldiva! I give you points for admitting it!
