"I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me. I said to her, ‘You have a drink on you? You have a car?’ She said, 'Daddy, it's me — Tatum!' I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick."
"Ladies' man" Ryan O'Neal admits in a cover story for September's Vanity Fair that he mistakenly hit on his own daughter, Tatum O'Neal, at Farrah Fawcett's funeral. Vanity Fair is releasing two different covers for September — one featuring Farrah Fawcett and another for Michael Jackson.

Gorgeous
seriously? ew
It's one thing to hit on your daughter. It's another to hit on anyone at your "wife's" funeral. Tacky, tacky.
haha- interesting...
I have to admit, my father's sense of humor is wacky. He'd totally do that just to relieve his grief. Outward tacky is honest; it's the people who always act appropriate that trouble me.
I don't get how he "hit" on her in that story?!
He found her to be beautiful, but not exactly hit on her.
This guy is a creep. I don't believe him as far as I could throw him.
I think he is lame, always been. And talks too much!
Who doesn't recognize their own daughter???
He deserves a kick to the nuts.
How could he not know his own daughter??
why would he publicly admit to this? shouldn't he have kept it to himself...
WHAT A JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what happens when families fall apart...
EWWW you effing sicko!! Why would you tell anyone that story?
Wow, he's done an amazing job as a father ... Tatum and that other drug addict who is in the slammer. He really did a good job of leading by example.
He is a horrible parent --- he took Tatum to coke parties when she was a little girl .. and slept w her best friend when they were 16.
That incident is wrong on so many levels.
Uhh you keep that to yourself.
wow... that guy has an ego! putting aside the fact that its funeral and she's his daughter, why would a young hot woman be with that thing?
Yes, it's really clear he was very much in love with Farrah. I'm so glad she didn't marry him before she died! He would have gotten half her estate! What a weasel.
I don't know if that's a story I'd repeat. Creepy.
Man, if that happened to me, I'd want to find a rock to hide under. Sure as HELL wouldn't be telling a magazine reporter.
you know...given that he was at his partners funeral where people they've both known throughout their relationship and who know him and his sense of humour very well...I'm fairly certain he was 100 percent sure he knew the person who wrapped their arms around him and felt comfortable in dropping a lighthearted comment like that, didn't matter who it actually turned out to be because he obviously was J-o-k-i-n-g so of course he will share this story with people
Oooook...some things are better not to be mentioned/discussed. Ever.
Sometimes he should just be quiet..
Wow, nothing better to do! Talk is cheap...
