This happened in Texas, the land of big hair, and apparently — perfume so strong it landed 34 in the hospital, made dozens of other hapless victims ill, and prompted 150 people to flee a bank on Wednesday after a woman innocently pulled out a bottle of perfume and sprayed.
At first, a couple bank tellers complained of headaches and chest pains. An announcement was made that anyone feeling ill could exit the building — prompting 150 people to split. When all was said and done and it was determined that it was perfume and not a carbon monoxide leak that was making people sick — 34 people ended up in the hospital.
This might be a novel way to rob a bank, all girly-like. Instead of packing heat while wearing a ski mask, just walk in, pull a bottle of perfume out, and start spraying.
Police still don't know what kind of perfume was sprayed that could cause this kind of mayhem. I have my ideas — what do you think it was?

Mishumo
Esprit
Uslu Airlines
Sex Panther.
(any Anchorman fans? hahahaha)
1lmao mamasita!!
"it's illegal in 9 countries.."
2I can understand this completely. In high school these girls decided to spray their body spray all over while waiting for class, me and this other guy had to leave the class soon others were following. A principle walked by when we told him why were all standing outside, he banned the use of perfume and sprays in school.
3This is bizarre. I can understand one or maybe even two people having an allergic reaction to a certain perfume.. but that many people? I would think that the perfume company would make sure their product isn't harmful before distributing...
4Damn what was she wearing Channel #666? LOL!
I am a public transit rider and if any of you are perfume or cologne wearers please have mercy on your fellow riders.
5haha I was gonna say Chanel of some form. I find that stuff awful.
660% of the time it works every time.
I'm not going to lie to you - that smells like pure gasoline.
7It smells like a diaper filled with indian food!
8I submit Red by Giorgio as the culprit. That sh*t is FOUL.
9I'm wondering if this bank had a lack of circulation. This combined with the perfume would be deadly.
10Haha! I was going to say Sex Panther too. Hilarious!
11It's a formidable scent..
12Paco Rabanne. It makes me sick every time.
13Jennifer Lopez "Still" A lady in my office wears it and you can still smell it an hour after she leaves the building.
14i'm guessing it's that spicy, oriental-y, pungent scent that all old ladies wear because whenever an old lady walks by me, i break out into a sneezing fit.
15lol anonymous i used to wear "still"...good thing i don't anymore!
16I hate it when people pull out some perfume and spray. It's so obnoxious and nobody cares if you want to smell like a billion other people !
17Maybe Obsession by CK or Organza hahaha
18Eau de Ass? I don't know! Had to have been stern stuff, and lots of it!
19So I was waiting for the part where everyone passes out and then she robs the bank? I would assume an investigation would be going on. Why would anyone have a perfume that makes everyone sick and then also why do it in a bank? It sounds really suspicious to me. What the hell was in it? Maybe Joop. I almost gag when my husband puts that on.
20Every time I go to the bank, the little tube for my deposit stinks of perfume so bad I have to get it out of my car pronto before I get sick. This has been going on form months and it's still strong.
