Her comment may have been a little harsh, but it holds some truth to it.
1i don't think the comment is harsh, it's true. oprah, ricki lake and sally aren't what the mainstream would call beautiful (though i think oprah has gotten better with age) and that opened the door for a lot of unconventional beauties to come in.
2I love her comment. It's straight to the point and I love that.

6Hmmm. I think Oprah IS beautiful. Ok, Sally Jesse Raphael? Not so much. But Oprah and Ricki Lake are actually very attractive women. I don't get it. Ok, they aren't SUPERMODELS, but I think we all know women we would describe as very beautiful, very attractive, who aren't "supermodel" beautiful. Christy Turlington is like, an ALIEN. This woman should shut her trap.
