You would still dirty up anything you sit on, and in turn have to eventually clean that.

When it's hot enough, my hubby and I do it all the time but not necessarily for eco reasons. I never thought about it in that light.

Indeed, it definitely helps to cool down, particularly after a shower, and especially since I refuse to ever turn on the a/c. But, if it's absurdly hot (as is common in the valley) than I'd rather just catch a show or go to a quiet cafe or restaurant, taking advantage of some local business' a/c.

This is silly! Not only, like CaterpillarGirl said, would you have to clean surfaces in your house more often this way, but you are also more at risk for getting vaginal infections and other such diseases when you don't have a protective layer of clothing. I think re-wearing the sweatpants you change into after work for a second day is a better way of doing less laundry than just going naked.

Actually, a woman is more prone to vaginal infections when she wears tight undewear/pants because heat and moisture is trapped inside.

Honestly, wearing lounge pants everyday for a week when you get home from work is not disgusting to me. Just keep it fresh...keep YOURSELF fresh. What's the point in sitting around naked when I can think of many other ways to tone down the laundry...?

God, how did our ancestors ever live without clothing? I don't think being naked will cause an increase in vaginal infections. I think just the opposite. Wearing panties, especially ones that are not cotton lined, keep it moist and dark down there. I think vaginas enjoy being aired out once in a while.
I enjoy sleeping nude so I guess that saves me some pajama laundry.

I really don't understand how this reduces laundry. You're still wearing at least one outfit per day unless you're naked all the time, and most people I know don't do that many costume changes every day anyway.

this may be TMI but I love being naked. As soon as I get home all the clothes come off - save underwear. And I wrap up in a soft blanket on the couch. I don't do this for eco reasons but for comforts sake. i hate clothes!

I do this all the time in summer. Especially after I shower in the evening, and I'll just walk around the house naked since I'll eventually be going to bed sans clothes as well anyway.

I agree with clareberrys - sleeping naked is fine but I wouldn't want my bare ass (or anyone else's) on furniture around the house. It just seems unhygienic to me.

Will not do. I live in a hot, sticky, humid place, and walking around naked will save me absolutely nothing. I'll gain a lot of mosquito and bug bites, lots of sweat (all over my furniture? ICK.), and possibly a sunburn if I sit by a window that gets too much direct sunlight.

I'd have to take MORE showers from sweating so much, and if I don't want to sweat, I'd have just as big an energy bill for all the FANS and coolant things running in the house.

Plus, I live at home with family right now - and it would not go over well AT ALL.

I dislike clothes too, Amanda. I have to have support, but wear as little as possible when I'm home by myself.

I wouldn't go fully nude, but I would lounge around with nothing but underwear on. I HAVE to have underwear on though. I feel too awkward without it.

You could always sit on a designated towel if yo are that scared. Jeez I usually go naked as soon as I hit the door. I lounge around in my bedroom so if I was scared of putting my bare butt on my own sheets then something is wrong. Wiping down you couch once every three to four days is a ok. I save on air conditioning and if I need to wear some thing I have a pair or three of lounge shorts to put on.

No! I just don't like being naked around the house I need support. Specially for the girls.

No. I'm well-endowed, and I need the support. Also, my breasts and nether regions are naturally really sensitive, and they need to be covered. Otherwise, I would be really jumpy.

I save the environment by re-wearing most of my clothes and not doing laundry until it's absolutely necessary. I'm not lazy, I'm environmentally friendly.

Also, it snows in June here, so I'm always in layers. Layers of old, dirty clothes

lol.. i go with as little as possible, just cause i hate clothes! Im not looking forward to when my kids old enough that i cant lounge around in as little as possible.

Closest I'd get is sleeping naked. PJ's take up a fair amount of space and as long as I had a dressing gown to wander about in before I put on my clothes for the day I'd be happy.

But yeah, rewearing pants or a sweater is a better idea. I rarely wash my jeans because they just dont get that dirty.

I am not a naked girl, but I like that my man is a naked guy.

I have no problem with nudity as long as everyone acts mature. If I could live naked I would, but my boss (who is also women) is so uptight she has a fit if I show a little cleavage or leg. Sometimes I go commando on bottom, just my silent protest to her Nurse Ratchet ways.
