Tampax has decided to go with the flow of viral marketing by creating a new series of videos staring Zach, a 16-year-old who wakes up one morning to find out that his penis has been replaced with a vagina. Zach soon discovers the joys of baking and the fact that men are pigs — because everyone with a vagina loves to bake and hates men! Well, Zach does come face-to-face with something almost every woman deals with: a monthly period. Luckily, he finds a Tampax dispenser that saves him from high-school humiliation. In the midst of menstruation, Zach has the deep realization: "getting your period sucks."

L.a.p.a.
That sounds pretty dumb. But I can't watch the vid right now. At work.
1Yah. Thats a ridiculous campaign idea.
It's like what if girls got jock itch, they don't, so who cares!
2I'm really not sure what to say. But the realization that his "man-pad wasn't going to cut it" did make me giggle a bit.
3I thought the vid was cute. "Man pad" made me laugh.
4weird.....
5I thought it was really funny.
6I love how they speak french !!
7But i don't find it's a really good idea, the idea of the guy having his menstruation.
And I must say, even the teacher is making mistakes but that is sooo cute
8The video was shot very well, and the concept for the campaign is very interesting, quirky and funny!
If a concept like Fitzgerald's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" can be made into an Academy Award winning movie, I don't think a guy going one step beyond sympathetic PMS is too outlandish to be successful.
Although, they could brush up on their French. From the start, the title is a butchering of the language, although it could just be mimicking the bad French typical of High School students. In which case, heh.
9this is just stupid. interesting, but stupid. although it would be nice for some guys to experience being a woman!!
10Cute video. Stupid silly? Yeah however I still laughed. (Man Pad...
) and the cr*ppy HS
french class is a funny setting. Completely agree with the statement "getting your period s*cks." :truestory:
11wow how originl, i was getting tired of all da annoyin shemale stuff on the inrtnet
12hilarious!
13I don't really get it. The cinematography and music are like a bad teen show from the 90s. It seems, somehow, like this is more about selling guys Tampax rather than girls.
Still - I like the idea of a corporation funding an experimental, interesting, socially relevant series of short films.

That was so funny
15It's weird. I just think he would be WAAAAAY more freaked if he woke up without his penis.
16this is too cute. I watched all of the episodes and it's really cool. I love this so much. I think it makes a good point of illustrating how strange and foreign getting a period is for the first time.. that and the humor of it.. the french, the best friend with a cardigan..
17this is dumb and transphobic...
18I think it's a shame that companies are running out of campaign ideas and that they have to resort to this kind of stuff... I almost couldn't bring myself to watch the whole video. But I did watch it, and it was a waste of 3 minutes of my life. Kind of disturbing too if you really think about it.
I can kind of see how they were trying to get the point across that guys don't understand and blah blah and women have it *so* bad once a month... But I really don't think getting my period is that big of a deal, sorry.
19How ridiculous! There are better things you could spend your time on.
20What an absurd idea. None of us would exist if men and women had the same reproductive organs.
21creepy &yucky
