Ten-year-old Kennedy Corpus of Green Bay, WI, got a handwritten note from Barack Obama himself excusing her from missing her last day of school. Her father took her to the president's town hall-style meeting at Southwest High School yesterday and told Obama he hoped she wouldn't get in trouble. 11I saw the video of him offering to write the note and thought it was adorable. And amazing that he was able to write the note (not that it was all complicated or anything) and be able to respond to the father's question. I can't do that lol.
12I heard that the teacher just made a copy of it, but she let Kennedy keep the original...b/c that's PRICELESS. And freaking awesome! "She's with me".
