"It sounds strange, but . . . I see Ronnie. At nighttime, if I wake up, I think Ronnie's there, and I start to talk to him. It's not important what I say. But the fact is, I do think he's there. And I see him."
— Nancy Reagan, in a Vanity Fair interview speaking about missing Ronald Reagan and seeing his ghost.

Its not spooky Tres, its incredibly sad and sweet.
My grandma says the same thing about my grandfather. I don't think it's weird at all. She had the strength to go on without him which shows who she is and what she is made of. There are so many people who couldn't go on without their other half.
I wouldn't be surprised if he really was checking in on her every one and again.
That is so sweet, and so heartbreaking.
I think it's sweet, too.
I was just wondering if something like this could be real. Could your loved one really send you signs or be present? Or does your mind see what it wants to see? Either thought is devastating to me, because being together so long and then losing them must be so hard. I think about losing my SO, and it just weighs so heavily on me that I can barely breathe.
I want to read that interview. I hope she is doing well.
Not spooky at all! I doubt she really thinks he is standing in the room, probably more of a feeling she gets. I think its great!
I think it is so sweet and she obviously loved him very much. It made me sad in the interview where she said that people say it gets better and she said that it doesn't, it never gets better.
Spooky? I think it's sweet, Tres.
I found it a little spooky. I would get my grandma checked if she told me something like that.. but thats just me.
This makes me want to cry. They were such a strong couple.
That's not spooky, that's sweet.
umm yea whatever i guess.
not spooky at all. i think if you've lost someone extremely close to you like she has, you'd understand that it's sweet & probably comforting to her.
I totally agree; it's not spooky at all. Imagine if you had lost a very close loved one, it's not so spooky then.
When you are with someone you love that long it's only natural to want to still be able to share your life with them. Whether or not she really thinks she sees him or she just imagines him being there it's sad and heart warming at the same time. I'm sure if my husband passed away I would feel the same way. Not spooky at all
I think it is so sweet too. They were the loves of each other lives.... I only hope that we all get to have this bond with someone in our lifetimes.
aww, that isn't spooky. they were truly soulmates and she loved him with everything she had..and still does.. So it isn't so weird that she may actually see him..
