If you wanted any sign that pop culture is fragmented and random, look no further than VH1's Daisy of Love. In order to even begin to fathom what this show is about, you have to be prepared to jump down the rabbit hole of reality television with me. Here goes. It stars Daisy de la Hoya — the runner up of Rock of Love 2. Not the winner, and not the first Rock of Love. And it's a dating show.
Daisy of Love premiered in April. I have missed out, but at the urging of obsessed fans, I've taken a look. Wow, uh, who dresses these people, where did they come from, and are they the result of an airborne toxic event? They're like mutant strains of douchebags, the chode version of C.H.U.D. (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller) — C.H.O.D.E.
Anyway, in this clip, Daisy gives nicknames to the contestants, and there's also a man in a thong doing flips. Enjoy!

I'm with you on this one. wow. that's all I can say. wow.
1I can handle super-soldiers, alien-human hybrids bred out of erlenmeyer flasks (or whatever), polar bears in jungles, and violent hallucinatory smoke monsters. I can even handle Friends spin-offs. But to willingly put myself through such befuddling, and semi-torturous weekly douchebaggery as [whatever] of Love, or any poorly contrived unscripted television show (like I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here. Oy.), would be far too much to handle. It hurts to know that these folks are the people who spawn most numerously. They're fun to drink with though.

3Yes, that too. Although it's a shame to waste a perfectly good drink so they can get what will likely amount to their most significant shower in what's probably been quite a long time.
4there are so many reality tv wh*res on vh1. i've seen countless people on these programs go from one show to another, network to another. they really need to stop casting the same people for these shows because the audience is starting to get bored.
