Along with penis size, height, and the ability to get it up, the locus of many a dude's insecurities lies in his stamina, or ability to have sex for as long as it takes to satisfy his partner. This hilarious (for anyone who doesn't have a premature ejaculation problem!) Australian ad capitalizes on this insecurity.
Created for the Advanced Medical Institute, a Sydney-based provider of treatment programs for fun things like erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, it shows the police breaking into a couple's bedroom and telling a one-minute man they'll give him a speeding ticket unless he calls AMI for help. Australia's Advertising Standards Bureau has received complaints from people saying that it's offensive to men.
Have you ever dated a one-minute man? Was it a dealbreaker? Did it get worse, better?

Yes, yes I have. And no, it didn't get better.
1Haha
I have dated a minute man and it got much much better. We're still dating.
2Never.
3yes, still not together.
4One rule: sex should take longer than the shower afterward. And should be just as hot and steamy.
5Yes! But it was my first, and I didn't know for years that he was the exception, not the rule!
No, it never got better.
6Oh yes I have. Well not really dated but had an on-off relationship for too long. It was not fun. Good thing he was amazing at everything else!
7I have had both end of the spectrum, and truth be told, I prefer the one-minute man to the 45 minute man by a long shot. I don't orgasm through intercourse, so the shorter we spend on it, the longer we can do other things
8I agree with that, popgoestheworld
9Love that ad. The policeman played a country policeman in an 80s show called A Country Practice.
10I have (actually..do). We are each others first (and only) partners. It started really, really badly, I'm talking no more than 40 seconds, but over the years it's gotten MUCH better. I love him dearly and I'm not about to leave him over something like that. I'm willing to work with him to help make it better.
Plus he compensates in other areas when it's really bad.
That ad was funny though.
11That, added with many other issues....i dumped him.
12In the beginning he was (because we were each others' first), but he was more than willing to work on it, and now he can actually outlast me! So yes, it did get better.
13I had never been with a one-minute man until I met my current guy...but let me tell you...he definitely does make up for it in other departments and it has gotten a bit better compared to when we first started dating (we weren't each other's firsts, but he had been going through a "drought" for a couple years before we met)
14No, thank God
15sadly, i have...and what made it worse is it was highly anticipated because we had dated on and off for three years and when it happened it was like *thumbs down* he later told me he was too excited but i was like 'three different times?!?!'
16that ad is funny, as are most of the other late night ones they play over here regarding premature ejaculation, but i get so sick of those AMI ads being played on the radio ALL DAY over here in australia, they even use the correct term premature ejaculation, which isn't bad but for an all day and frequent time slot i always wonder....what about all the children that could be listening to the radio at that time?!
17I dated one for several weeks, and things never got better. He even got indignant when I asked if we could go longer than a minute. Ugh.
