Once the project is completed, the ants will be released to interbreed with all the ants of the world, genetically incorporating the camera adaption to all ants worldwide within seven months. The purpose of this project is to enable Google to not only present a view of the earth from above, but also from below. In future you might want to think twice about stepping on an ant (and be sure you have your best underwear on as you loom above them).
