I've had to deal with sexual harassers, so I know that sexual harassment is no laughing matter. Sexual harassment public service announcements and training videos, however, tend to be ridiculous. Take this manager at what looks like a sad salad bar somewhere. The only possible response she could give, besides the glare she gives him, is to respond, "You should see how well I handle these tongs."

I think they try and make them entertaining to keep the viewer watching. I've seen people get fired for such behavior, so where we work its not tolerated at all. My husband had to quit one of his jobs and filed a complaint when two of his managers (a male and a female) were both hitting on him constantly.
1They always look like cheesy high school skits. I remember having to watch training videos like this when I worked at Safeway. I seriously don't think any training video has ever been filmed after 1995.
