When I look at this vintage ad, I think three things. First, apparently Lady Gaga did not invent the hair bow. Second, who plays pool topless? And third, how long until pointy bras make a comeback? Madonna made them famous on stage in the '80s, but will ordinary women ever want to look this perky again?

I sure HOPE not. Shirts are too tight around the boobs as it is...and pointy ones just look really really fem-bot...not cool.
I hope not either. If they do, I'm, not wearing them!
Wait, you mean they're not still in style? brb going shopping....
Odd survey choices - how about "HELL NO OR I WILL KILL MYSELF"?
Uh, no. This was a good look for exactly no one.
No, the next big thing: pointy implants.
Somebody is gonna lose an eye!
If they came back they might punch a hole through the shirts.
How about "I sure as hell hope not"
Pointy breasts were never a good look. Just like bandeau swimsuits are not a good look. Horizontal hooters aren't cute, when are women going to look in the mirror and figure it out?
I hope not. I recently tried on a gorgeous La Perla set the other day and then realized it was pointy....that thing came of so fast!!!
Well... Madonna tried...
Superjules, bandeau swimsuits look okay on girls like me, who don't have enough hooters for them to squish into a horizontal shape! If you can be aptly titled 'mosquito bites', you can pull off a bandeau.
But yeah, seriously - if pointy bras come back in, I'll simply stop wearing bras.
I will to see some pointy bras in the Gossip girl spinoff.
No thanks. There's a woman at my job that has pointy bras. Her chest seriously freaks me out every time I come in contact with her.
I hope so. Then again, I like vintage clothes and historical costume.
I think they look terrible under clothing and probably won't make a comeback. They do look sexy worn alone though. I love the look of vintage lingerie. So sexy.
No, or at least I hope not. It looks so unnatural, unless you you were born with cone shaped breasts...
I hope to God not! As far as I know, they only did that because they didn't have the technology to make the round foam pads we have in our bras now, and a pointy bra was much better than wearing a corset that stopped your breathing! lol.
Oh please, no! Pointy bra's are absolutely horrendous!
Oh goodness I hope not. Those things are terrible. If I wanted it to look like I had spaceships under my shirt I would just put them there.
no. it looks unnatural. women could try, but men would react they same way they do to the high-waisted pants
Why on earth were these popular? It's like they're robots. Or Stepford wives...
When I was in elementary/middle school, one of the cafeteria supervisors wore a pointy bra and she would always squeeze and hug kids. When she walked around, the little boys would make rocket noises under their breath.
One day she hugged a kid and he became completely encased in her bosom. Another kid across the room made the noises really loud and yelled " The Eagle has landed!!" and got suspended.
I like how it says that it hapes and supports "NATURALLY." There is nothing natural about those.
I like a natural shape.
I miss Dear Sugar sooooo much!!!! Please come back!
If pointy bras come back, maybe bra-burning will come back also. I have played strip-pool with friends (you lose an item of clothes every time you sink the cue ball), and a bra like that would stop the game cold!
yeah im not gonna wear those..lol
no because i'd never wear them.
Pointy bras are no more artificial than the ghastly molded monstrosities available in every lingerie outlet in the land. Boobs don't look like basket balls (unless they're full of silicone) nor do they look like cones. Somewhere in between: fashion had it right in the late 60's early 70's - breast shaped!
