Over the weekend in Pattaya, Thailand, the 12th annual Miss Tiffany's Universe contest crowned another winner, 20-year-old Sorrawee Nattee.

All of the Miss Tiffany's contestants are transsexuals or transvestites and the contest aims to promote human rights for the transgender population in Thailand. In Thailand, the transgender population is considered a third gender. Below are tearful runners-up.

wow. The straight men there must really need to be on their toes when it comes to dating, marrying, ect. These "women" are beautiful. Tricky tricky.
1it's Pattaya, not Pattay
2They look gorgeous! But a "third gender?" What a backhanded way for a culture to marginalize people. All the transgender people I've known just want to be one or the other.
As I understand it, the culture there makes it easy for them to get hormones so they never have to go through a boy's puberty - no wonder they look so great. Plastic surgery can also be gotten on the cheap, which is why so many American transsexuals go there for sex reassignment surgery,
