What does America think of Michelle Obama's naked, oh-so-toned arms? Well, according to one poll, 49 percent don't really care one way or another, but you wouldn't know that from the obsessive media coverage about her lack of arm coverage. If we all try to have arms as toned as hers, will we eventually try to do everything Michelle does? Like going to Princeton, then Harvard, be Barack's boss, work as an executive at hospitals affiliated with the University of Chicago hospitals, and then support local sustainable food initiatives with a garden? Damn. I'm finding it hard just picturing myself working out enough to get those arms. . .

I think Oprah and the media fuel the fire on this. Most of America is too worried about their finances, their jobs, and their families to care about her arms. I hope the media's obsession with her dies soon.
1How about this, no one really cares. I'm really sick of all the posts about the non-sense that is the Obama Family. These issues are so superficial to the real situations and issues that Americans are dealing with on a daily basis, like keeping their job and feeding their family.
2I wasn't aware this was an issue. I mean, I prefer to go sleeveless, but I get cold. I agree with the 49% of the poll takers.
3I think the people who were obsessing over her arms were people who were upset that she was going sleeveless. They thought it was improper and made a stink about it. What that is called is jealousy. I too wish people would leave her alone about it. Jackie Kennedy was going sleeveless years ago in the White House and nobody freaked out about, I wonder why it's a problem now. It really is a non-issue. There is a bit of an obsession with the Obama Family. Perhaps it's due to the fact that they are so smart, young and all the things that most Americans want to be. Just a well rounded family. It's understandable.

7people actually care about the condition of her arms? she is a lovely person and a great role model but her physique is of little interest to me. who cares if she shows her arms or not. i would have never even noticed if it weren't for the media pointing it out.
actually maybe it will inspire others to get in shape and we won't have such an overweight country. i guess keep wearing sleeveless michele...
