It may look awkward typed out, but doesn't "fauxcialite" just roll off the tongue? At least it does when Chuck Bass utters it in last night's episode of Gossip Girl [1]. As explained in the clip below, a fauxcialite is someone who fancies the finer things in life, attends the right parties, and seeks out moneyed mates but isn't actually rich — only pretending.
