Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has expressed interest in buying the film rights to singing phenomenon Susan Boyle's life story.
I can see why Susan Boyle's story would appeal to the Welsh beauty, who can also sing and dance. The dowdy underdog who ended up wowing the judges on Britain's Got Talent has a story with built-in buzz and drama. Do you think she'd make a good Susan Boyle?

I don't really get the whole Susan Boyle craze anyway. I mean sure, she can sing, and sure, she's kind of homely, but is her ENTIRE life's history really THAT interesting?

8I feel so bad for Susan Boyle with everyone talking about how ugly she is. I mean how come fat guys can be great opera singers, comedians, etc and nobody ever says anything? Susan's extremely talented, if they want to find an actress to play her they'd better start looking for one who can sing too, because that's going to be harder to find than someone who can wear a fat suit.

15I'm tired of beautiful people being cast as fat or ugly. I remember reading that Beyonce wished she'd been given the opportunity to gain weight in order to play Effie. I'm damn glad the producers thought otherwise.
16I think she could pull it off. Other actors and actresses have changed their weight for a role, so can Jones. And she is a talented singer and dancer.

18Yes! She's a good actress and they totally have a similar face structure. The only difference is everything that's superficial - that can all be changed with make-up, hair color, clothes and 30lb weight gain.

If CZJ wants to be crazy and buy the rights and play this woman [is her life even movie-worthy? Because it'll need a LOT MORE than just "oh I got to sing on Britain's Got Talent and people underestimated me but boy I can sing and they loved it". Really, Boyle's not all that remarkable to make a lifetime movie from. She's just not. Sorry.

She only went on Britains Got Talent and wowed everyone bcoz they underestimated her .
