Welcome to TrèsSugar's new advice column, Conventional Wisdom, where your questions will be answered by people from all walks of life. If you're already a fan of Group Therapy and Sunday Confessional, then you may want common sense advice from someone who is going to tell it like it is. It might not be perfect, it might not come from an expert, but you'll get an angle you wouldn't get from someone with a PhD in psychology.
