In this economy, saving money where you can is a no-brainer, which is why buying in bulk is a smart investment — you'll always need toilet paper and detergent, right? But what about buying condoms in bulk? Is it a do or a don't?

i don't ever need domers so i don't need to do this, but if you use enough to get through them BEFORE THEY GO BAD, then why not?
1I have a Sam's Club and a Costco membership. I clearly like buying in bulk. LOL So buying the big box condoms seems like a good idea. For people who don't have sex as often...I think condoms have an expiration date right...so if your not gonna use them in a timely fashion...I don't konw for everyone else...LOL...me...yes.
2There should be an option for those in a committed relationship who don't use condoms.
3LOVE ANGELINA: I love Sam's too, but you know sometimes we loose a little in waste. I would do jump in jacks for anyone interested in protecting their health and unwanted pregnancies. But if you know that they are expiring and you might not use them all, their is an option to donate them to a Clinic that promotes safe sex.....of course with the warning label "about to expire". You might save a life, pass it on!
4In college my husband and I bought condoms in bulk from the student health center. We'd walk in and say "We'd like 100 condoms, please." The nurse never even bat an eyelid, haha. What can I say, 100 condoms for $10 was too good a deal to pass up.
5wow that is a good deal sexypenguin!
Yeah I'd do it ... if you are going to use them before they expire then why not
... good
to be prepared!
6I know, kikidawn! It's one of the things I miss about college. At 10 cents a pop, who wouldn't buy in bulk? lol
7How much exactly is in this bulk?
8Of course.
9If you're gonna use them, why not?
10Yeah, why not? It's usually a good deal and you don't have to keep going back for more. Plus they usually don't expire for another 5 years or so. Not that they'd last me that long, personally..
11A don't - I am in a committed relationship and have no need for condoms.
12If you'll use that many before they go bad...then more power to ya.
Of course, if time's running low and you've still got a lot, condoms have some fun alternative uses [for your sex toys, water balloons, balloon animals...].
13No.
14I do! I'll buy 2 boxes of 12 or 24 if they're on special offer. I mean, they don't really expire do they? =)
15Totally, they generally last a long time. We buy 2 or 3 36 packs at a time and we're set for 8 months to a year.
16I get them free from health services at my college, so it's kind of a moot point ...
But when we went on vacation over the summer we totally invested in the big box from BJ's (no pun intended XD) ... how can you pass up the deal of 40 for 10 bucks, when the small box at the pharmacy is about the same price?!
I'm in a committed relationship and still use condoms the majority of the time (although less, recently .. now that we're realizing how much more fun it is, lol!), so bulk buying is a good thing. They don't last anywhere NEAR their expiration date! =]
17We buy the 36 packs. Kind of pricey but we have sex often enough that we use them quickly!
18We don't use condoms--if we did though, I'd buy in bulk because we have sex pretty often, lol. Those suckers could get expensive!
19They do have expiration dates!!!!! Hello people this is not toilet paper..... And who is having that much sex they need a costco size box of condoms?
20hm this reminds me of a scene in "Knocked Up." "Why'd we buy a year's supply of condoms at Costco if you're not gonna use 'em." Haha..
21Yeah, why not?
22Only reason why I don't is because if I'd be too paranoid of having them laying around outside the box and using the past the expiration date, thinking they're still OK. I'd rather buy them as I need them!
