I have to say ladies, I was pretty surprised to see how many of you feel comfortable going to the bathroom in front of your significant other! And while most of you draw the line at going pee, some of you felt that even that was taking it too far. So to delve deeper into this subject, I thought I'd ask where you stand on going to the bathroom in front of your girlfriends! If you're one to travel to the bathroom in packs, tell me, do you actually drop trou in front of each other?

All the time...especially if there's a wait. No biggie!
I will in front of certain girlfriends.
I prefer some privacy, but have shared stalls with girlfriends, usually at bars where there's very few available stalls and even fewer relatively clean ones.
I would never if it was at their house or something. If it's in a stall I just hope they can't hear what I'm doing, there's nothing worse than a conversation being splintered by a "ploop" noise!
i like the privacy. but if it just happens than fine, i won't freak out.
i actually do that only when i'm drunk
or if we stay at the same hotel room and
she's brushing her teeth and i'm dying to go...
Never!
in a public restroom if necessary, sure...at home, i don't see why it would ever be necessary....but it's not as if theyr'e staring you down. as long as they're averting their eyes, fine
Only when I'm drunk! Otherwise I get stage-fright.
I have a friend who thinks nothing of dropping her pants in front of me while I'm in front of the mirror which was a bit disconcerting at first but now I don't even bat an eyelid.
I've done this while out drinking in the past. It was just seemed faster somehow to go in together to pee. Now, when I go out with my guy friends and I am the only girl it makes me crazy when 3 or more girls go into the bathroom together when I am waiting on line. It takes FOREVER for them to all come out.
Umn, I'd much rather have privacy, but sometimes you just gotta go....
Doesn't bother me.
No way! How can people be so open about this? Not in front of my boyfriend and definitely not in front of any female friends.
only when i'm drunk! its a good time to gossip!
we usually pee in stalls next to one another, but ive never been big for going to the bathroom with others unless there is an atrociously long line and we just stay there forever.
I don't really like it. I'll do it and my friends will do it, like if it's a one-toilet bathroom but I'd rather just do my own thing.
I would never pee infront of my g/f or husband. I need privacy. There is nothing wrong with peeing in a stall while your friend waits at the sink for you. That is different.
I like to pee alone but if I had to in a public bathroom I wouldn't freak out about it....
If at ALL possible, I avoid this. I was forced to do it in bootcamp, and now I thoroughly enjoy my privacy.
I don't understand why people are uptight about this. They're your girlfriends. We all have the same parts and everyone pee's! If you can't be comfortable in front of them then that's a huge problem/insecurity!
Only when nature's calling is already screaming at me, or when - in a club - they placed a security person in front of the men restrooms to make sure, girls don't go there.
When it is necessary, yes. I'm not a very modest person.
No, I'm not okay with that.
certain friends i will have elaborate conversations with anywhere including when we are in different stalls. But if you start talking and go into a stall and continue to talk, you have now set that standard and I have no problem keeping it that way...
yup
if there are no stalls, just one big single restroom, we'll go in there together, or (before i could get into bars) if we were at a house party we'd go in together. otherwise, stalls next to each other.
All the time. Even at home, why not? If we're getting dressed up to go out we all change infront of each other, not a big deal at all. This is pretty much the same thing, I'm not shy.
I never go in front of anyone.
I'm open to it, if necessary.
The title of this post should be "where do you sit?"
no, but with my roomies, weve def left the door ajar to carry convos on.. haha.
What?! No to doing in front of SO's, and hell no to going to the bathroom in front of girlfriends. My friends and I are pretty close - so close that we don't need to be that close! We talk loud enough to carry on conversations through closed doors and over stalls.
It's usually only ever happened intoxicated...or in an emergency.
when i was younger and drunk, no big deal. now probably not so much.
haha, my bff and I do occasionally when we're drunk. Funny that I would NEVER do it in front of my husband, lol!
I've only ever done it once...a bunch of us were out hiking and there was no bathroom, so I hid in a bush to go while my friend kept lookout. Otherwise, no, I probably would not do it.
I don't really see how it's any faster to all go into a single bathroom at once. I'm not necessarily averse to it, but I'm not the one suggesting it.
It all depends on the girlfriend.
Oh snap I do that all the time when I'm drunk! Why do I do that? I guess it's a fun way to bond but... I'd totally get stage-fright if I was sober... haha this is the first time I've thought about this.
I don't see why you would share a stall in a public restroom when there's a whole bathroom of them, but I'd go in front of my friend at her house/ my house if she's in there doing makeup or something.
I have- it seems alcohol brings reduces modesty
Occasionally, usually at a bar when I've been drinking. Otherwise, I totally have shy bladder. I don't even like it when others can hear me.
I think most of us have been in certain situations where drinking and a shortage of toilets results in a shared stall or something. Not usually anyone's first choice, but it's happened to me as well. For instance if I'm on the road with a friend, and we've stopped at a creepy gas station with one stall I'm not going to make her wait outside in the dark. I'll invite her in and it's up to her. I've also been at jobs where we were so busy we were all running in the bathroom at the same time. I've had a few converstions through walls there too. It used to make me laugh.
