Remember those sad faces this morning, saying how people getting gay married were ruining their straight married lives? OK, lives may be hyperbolic — probably just acting careers. The Human Rights Campaign dug up audition reels from the National Organization for Marriage's new ad campaign opposing gay marriage, proving beliefs can be bought.
How many people can say "I'm a California doctor who has to decide between my faith and my job"? You're about to find out!

This is disgusting. I would never accept this kind of acting gig. What disgusting people.
1*Slow clap* This whole thing pisses me off but I have to ask, who thought it was a good idea to use the phrase 'rainbow coalition' in this ad?
2And the slow clap is not in support, but appreciative of the overall stupidity.
3I thought all those folks reading the same lines was humorous. I know, I know, small things amuse small minds. Does anyone really believe that ad is going to change minds? really, I see it as employment, maybe not all that productive but actors, cameramen, electricians, etc. were collecting a pay check.
4Reminds me of when Joey on Friends did that syphilis ad.

6oh blue, thanks I now know what banna was talking about with "Slow clap".

8I see why these people didn't get the job...
But I also have to question the choice of "rainbow coalition".
9oh dear...

!!!!!
11did anyone actually think they weren't actors?
12No surprise that they're actors - but it does make one wonder why the National Organization for Marriage couldn't find real people whose lives had been adversely affected by gay marriage.
13They're actors, surprise
14Who cares, it is a commercial.
But I am surprised that when something is a liberal video
we don't get a big article like this showing their audition reels. biased ass site this is!
15Steph, maybe they could, actually I know they could. But they don't look as purty on tv.
16OMG, they use actors not real people for advocacy adds. Oh man I am bummed, next you will be telling me there is no such thing as the Easter Bunny.
17Hate it break it to you, Hainan, none of these people look purty on TV, either.
18"Steph, maybe they could, actually I know they could. " How do you know they could?
19No one's life has been "ruined" by gay marriage. But plenty of people's lives have been ruined because they haven't bee able to have the same rights with their partner as a straight couple would have.
20No one's life has been "ruined" by not being able to get married either. Seems a little dramatic.
21I think we're in store for a rainbow collision.
