if they ask you for another date (and clearly did not realize the date was terrible!), make sure you express that you do not want to -politely. "Can I take you out again?" "I'm sorry, I just did not feel a spark, but thank you for the nice dinner/etc."
1Man, I went on a couple of *really* bad dates back in college. They were so bad I couldn't even bring myself to be polite - I was just in too much of a hurry to get out of there lol! Looking back on it I realize I could have been a little more gracious, but ah well. Live and learn.
2Me I don't feel bad. I had a guy who kept trying to cop a feel in the movies and be a pig. Mind you I had met him there, I always took my own car. I excused myself to the bathroom and left. Hahahaha.
3I've been on a couple of really, REALLY bad dates before and what I learned from it was to arrange for a first date to be something like just coffee or something like that...not dinner and a movie. That way, if you decide the guy's a major tool after 15 minutes, finish your coffee and say you've got to get going/have stuff to do/etc. And if it's great, you can hang out in the coffeeshop for a long time and arrange to see the guy again for a second date.
4wow aimeeb that sucks. i would of probubaly thrown popcorn in his face and walked out. my idea of a bad date is too make awkward silences.those are the worse. and you can tell too when you just give a mid awkward hug. they usually get it by then.
5Do have an emergency plan - ie. have a good friend call you with an "emergency" so you can end the date early if need be. Yeah, it's only dinner and not your whole life, but why suffer that if you don't need to?
6lindssaurussss you have no idea. I could of been more rude but instead I ditched him in hopes to avoid being THAT much more mean.
7"Do remember that it's just a date, not the rest of your life and it'll be over before you know it."
But sometimes *HE* doesn't know that...I just had a dude try to start running my life after one freakin' date! BUH BYE!
