Nice picture.
1yeah, i like the picture. he sure is doing alot of traveling..i think he needs to spend a little more time in the white house working on issues.
2Pretty photos aside, this trip will be interesting. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's idea for a "global stimulus plan" has been met with total opposition from Germany's leader, Angela Merkel. Germany's economy is the world's third largest. The Czech PM scolded the plan as "a way to hell." Bank of England Governor Mervyn King trashed the idea.
Of course the U.S. supports Brown's plan completely. After all, we've already committed more than 8% of our GDP to stimulus, with more to come.
Merkel said: "I will not let anyone tell me that we must spend more money," she said over the weekend. "We must look at the causes of this crisis. It happened because we were living beyond our means. . . . We cannot repeat this mistake."
I love this woman.
So, ironically, when it's all said and done the trip will be all about pretty pictures. Because the EU is not interested in spending the way Obama and Brown would like.

Don't forget to include the IMF in that statement. They are also pushing for global stimulus action.
