During these rough times, it's important to do whatever you can to find solace and comfort — you know, to keep you sane! Chocolate and a little mindless entertainment seems to be doing the trick for me, but tell me ladies, what's comforting you these days?

Nostalgia. I watch Beverly Hills 90210 daily... aaah, simpler times!
I also just stay focused and optimistic. It really does help. Being pessimistic and negative/cynic does nothing to improve or motivate you!
1My man is a very calm person, compared to my tendencies towards worrying. So he's a nice comforting influence. So are my little kitties.
2that is such a good outlook, romantique! I have really resolved to be positive, nicer, smile more, etc in 2009 and it has made a world of difference -- PHYSICALLY I can feel myself more relaxed and centered by just making the effort to be happier and kind.
other than that, I'm a NYC girl, and I occasionally treat myself to the grapefruit and pink grapefruit gummie candies at Dylan's Candy Bar
so delish!
3Getting into the routine of working out has helped me a lot. I feel like I'm finally doing something about my weight (instead of griping about it and then downing cheesy fries and cupcakes). When I feel blue or out of it, I try to exercise to remind myself that I am strong (and that I have a fully working body which is something I should be thankful for). It gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Oh yeah, and the occasional treat (like a red velvet cupcake from Buttercup Bake Shop) never hurts,as long as its really occasional, lol.
4Working comforts me. Playing mindless myspace apps when I get home comforts me. Wrapping my arms around my man when we are drifting off to sleep comforts me.
5Chocolate..lots of chocolate.
Also i substituted my chanel, dior and lancome habbit with maybelline and lush products.. so im pretty happy and comforted being able to still have some treats!
But nothing beats a cuddle from my boy!
6Smacks-seriously those are my answers too! Working out and red velvet cupcakes (from a cafe called Cupcake-yum!), and just sitting at my favorite coffee shop and reading really comforts me.
7Chocolate and long hugs from my best friend
8Chocolates right now and working out 5 times a week. I need to get my mind off some things.
9Yoga, fresh berries, really old movies, holding my purring 17 year old cat, and chocolate.
Caught "The Scarlet Pimpernel" last night with Leslie Howard, can't believe it was made in 1935, awesome movie...made me feel great to watch it.
10The internet and dvds. Seriously, because everything sucks right now.
11Musical Theatre. I reherse three times a week for an upcoming production of Les Miserables. It's such an escape to be able to completely throw yourself into another persona- and playing Eponine is exactly that for me. Singing lessons is another big one.
12Lately, nothing has been better than sitting in the park near my house with my boyfriend, wrapped up in a huge blanket, drinking wine and just talking.
Chocolate.
Playing World of Warcraft (it's mindless and something cheap my boyfriend
and I can do together!) Going to the pool or beach now that it is warmer and just reading while soaking up some sun and vitamin D. And, as others have said just trying to keep a positive
outlook on things even though times are rough!
13Working out takes my mind off things a lot. Also, KenKen puzzles have been sort of a guilty pleasure lately. If you haven't tried them, you should...they're addicting.
14I am recently heartbroken, so the company of my friends and family has been really comforting me lately. Just realized how precious they are and how much I treasure them.
15I think I have a stressful so having my friends and in the end of the day being able to lay on my new crush pretty much makes me feel better. It's nice to have someone there that cares for you and comforts you. I definitely one that loves to sleep on men's chests and leave all my worries behind. It's really nice.
16LAYING IN MY MANS ARMS MAKES ALL THE DRAMA OF A LONG DAY GO AWAY
17To just chill out I read mainly dear sugar because I love to see what other people are saying. But I guess what I find comforting is my boyfriends touch (a no brainier) but we are in a LDR because of college. So I guess I eat chocolate and rice cakes and surf in internet for interesting articles (so reading?) OH and exercise- ballet class or any dance class.
