I'd be pissed! I work hard to stay on track with certain things, and I splurge on my time with other things. I am the backseat barista that definitely checks to see what they're doing.
ooooooooh backseat barista-ing is the worst! when people are rude to me at work i slip them decaf-- a much easier switch than whole milk. its a barista's only revenge.
I'd be pissed, hell, i'd want to throw it in her face. Except for the fact that the starbucks i've been to let you prepare your own coffee the way you want it.
Meh, if I give someone the wrong drink, I make them another one. Although to be fair if someone got angry enough that they wanted to throw the drink in my face for a simple mistake, well...
there's a good chance I'd never get their drink right, because I sure as hell don't want them coming back to my store again.
Not via decaf though, it takes too long to pull the decaf espresso shot on the machine I use. It'd just be the wrong milk combination, resteamed milk and I'd probably make the espresso really
bitter.
I wouldn't really care as long as I got the right type of coffee. However I was once handed a full fat flat white instead of my soy mocha. I was NOT a happy camper.
An ounce of whole milk instead of skim? Get a life. They did you a favor. If you drink skim milk you'll be swallowing vitamin D and calcium supplements for 20 years with your coffee when you
retire.

1Haha. I know its bad but that would be how I feel!

3Ha ha me too Annie.
4That is funny Annie...personally these fancy coffee drinks are always a treat for me so I get it with everything!
5I would be irritated. I get the skim to avoid the extra calories since I can't taste a difference anyways.
6Ick.
7No I would feel really pissed off. Especially given whole milk makes me feel so sick.
8I would actually ask them to make it again. I was a barista for several years and grew to hate the taste and texture of everything but nonfat milk.
9I always order full-fat milk so I'd be pissed if I got skim!
10I'd be pissed, hell, i'd want to throw it in her face. Except for the fact that the starbucks i've been to let you prepare your own coffee the way you want it.
11That's just silly. If you want full-fat milk, then order it. If you don't, then don't.
12ooo i would kill him!
13I don't have "fancy" coffee orders anyway...
14Exactly, Colleeninator. If you want whole milk, order whole milk. I don't think it's that complicated of an idea.
15I never order non-fat. I'd rather walk an extra block than compromise on the food I like

P.S. that being said I've never done that because seriously... who gets that angry if you're willing to make the coffee over again?
