Presidents may make $400,000 a year for one of the toughest job in America, but they get paid a whole lot more the write about that tough job! Rumor has it that George W. Bush will get paid around $7 million for his upcoming book.
The book won't be a biography, but rather a discussion of the 12 toughest decisions he made, such as giving up drinking and tapping Dick Cheney for Vice President. Bush has written 30,000 words of the book so far and the working title is Decision Points.
Would you read the book?

The Body Shop
I think I'll check it out. At least it'll be a good conversation starter.
1of course, I can't wait.
2I'd rather read My Pet Goat, it'd definitely be more credible.
3I would check it out from the library, not buy it ( I rarely buy books anymore, I am not aloud to buy anymore due to lack of space!)
Steph I love goat meat, if cooked correctly, not sure if credibility adds to the experience.
4No but I don't read those kinds of books anyway. I'm pretty much convinced there's some ghost writer out there wishing people knew who really writes these things
5Oh it does CG, you should try some sometime.
6Only if he really wrote it himself - because that could be funny. *lol*
7I'm not going to buy it. Maybe one day when it has arrived in the $1 store in my neighborhood, but I doubt I'd buy it even then.
8P.S. the Dollar store has the awesomest book collection, for example, Alli diet book that cost $12.95 and still in sales in stores, they sell it for a buck! Wow.
funny as hell...
9yes, not gonna deny it
embarrassingly I have been waiting for a book since he was
still on his first term, I would love to hear what he has to say!
10Library, but will read.
11I don't want think? Huh?
12No.
13hehehehehe not while kresey cole, lisa kleypas and teresa medeiros are still writing
14I would check it out from the library and that is because I rarely buy books.
15If someone pays me a million dollars I will read it.
16Not a chance. There's nothing he could say that I would believe.
17Don't think so!
18What will make the most interesting reading is his list of what he considers his 12 most difficult decisions. The thought process around each one of them will also give insights on his psyche
19Let's see... Do I wanna read a book written by an illiterate person who's gonna spend 800 pages justifying his incompetence and ill-fated decisions ? Huh... no.
Oh, wait, I'm wrong. He won't do that. Write the book himself, that is...
20I wouldn't buy it, but I'd read it - regardless of whether it was ghost written or not.
21tulipe, he is illiterate, I had no idea, its inspiring that he had the smarts to be elected, twice, and not be able to read, He should write a book about that.
22Ahaha, yes, he should write a book and then be the only one not being able to read it...
23I'd buy it if my Dad, Mom or sisters didn't first (they usually do, which means I don't have to pay for it
)
24no.
25Oh, CaterpillarGirl, I'm sorry about the confusion. In French, we make the difference between "illettré" (=unstudied, uncultivated, ignorant) and "analphabète" (literally, someone who doesn't know their alphabet). I meant the first one.
26Oh i am sorry you were speaking french in your first post? my bad, I was responding to the word illiterate , and its meaning in america...you should preface your smugness so I dont get mixed up again.
27Why the hate ? I was just trying to explain what I meant, since English is not my first language. I was the one who got mixed up, not you.
28I am really looking forward to reading it.
29tulipe, regardless he is neither of those things in any language.
30I would definitely check this one out at the library!
31No. I don't want think he'll be straight in it.
Really!?!
32I would gladly read ANY memoir by ANY former president. It would be interesting. Bush was obvioulsy not the most well spoken of presidents, he came across as a moron in many ways. Yet I can't help but wonder what he's REALLY like.
I know many many highly intelligent people, that when you put them in front of a microphone they come across as blithering idiots. They have absolutely ZERO finesse.
Yes, I will buy it and I will read it.
33i have zero desire to read that one, so nope - not going to buy it. i think that i suffered enough through W. (and i love josh brolin)
