In addition to just standing there and looking perfect, Barbie's had a lot of odd jobs and identities throughout her 50-year career as a doll. Some of these incarnations were so weird that I wonder if you can tell which of the jobs/personalities below Barbie "really" had.

17I don't think that Barbie is actually called Goth/Punk Barbie. I'm pretty sure that's one of the Hard Rock Cafe ones.
And the Geisha one is part of a series of dolls that were dressed in traditional dress from other cultures; I don't see what's wrong about taking something girls are already interested in and using it to teach them about other cultures and their traditions.
