Listen up everyone — Spring officially starts tomorrow, so if you're not yet ready for a season change, check out these easy ways to prepare yourself!
- If you're stuck with pasty Winter skin, give yourself a vacation-looking glow instead. Exfoliate away the cold-weather dryness, lightly moisturize, and, if you'd like, invest in a good self-tanner.
- Winter can do a number on your hair so treat yourself to a thick, rejuvenating conditioner, or head to the salon for a reconstructive treatment. If you're up for a new look, now would be the time to get some highlights to brighten up your face!

- I'm sure you're all sick of your Winter clothes by now, but ease your way into Spring — just because the sun is shining, it doesn't mean you have to show everything! Layer tanks with cardigans or lightweight jackets and put your Winter boots back in storage. One thing to keep in mind is to let the temperature dictate your outfit, not necessarily the season.
- I don't know about you, but a manicure/pedicure always makes me feel fresh and clean, and since there are so many new seasonal colors to chose from, swap out your dark shade of red for a more springlike shade of pink!
- When you're ready to show your legs again, be sure they're cleanly shaven. Load up on shaving cream and new razors, and remember to moisturize!

Thank you for putting that out there! Just because its officially spring, if the temps are still low no need to be going out in a mini skirt, a tank top, and flip flops!!!!!!!!
1I can't wait to wear flip flops!!
2Ah, I love springtime!!
3I saw a guy walking on my way to work - he had on shorts, birkenstocks and a ridiculously small t-shirt...it is barely 50 degrees out and raining...
4i wear flip flops once it gets above 50 degrees just because I grew up in a beach town and that is what we've always done. But i'm good about the rest of it and I do let the weather dictate how I dress. Now that I've gotten a bit older (im 21) I switch my flip flops to flats when it's above 50 just because I like to keep my outfit nicer.
5i just got a mani/pedi/haircut yesterday and have been tanning to give myself a glow! and i went shopping and bought some spring clothes sunday! besides the shaving my legs thing, which i always do anyway, i've done all this!
6Good tips!
7the new schick quattro with the trimmer on the end is a LIFE Savor! I hadn't shaved or trimed anything for like 2 months or maybe 3.... I would have clogged up any normal razor. The Schick quattro by itself is amazing and I've used the original (both male and female) but the trimmer is the biz-ness! And its cheap I paid only $11 which was the same price as the venus embrace right next to it! Go out and get it!
8ThePerfectSco i saw a commercial for that the other day and I was like I have to get one of those! Glad to hear it works so well. I'll def have to pick one up now.
9Nooo NO SELF TAN!
UGH what stupid advice. Self tan always looks like you have faked it. Always a tad yellow.. i can tell a fake tanned woman a mile off.
Learn to be comfortable in your own skin for gods sake.... why be yellow?
All you need for spring is a hair trim/cut
10A good pedicure (or just change your color of nailpolish on your hands and feet)
To put the heavy jumpers at the back of your closet..
And up the color in your wardrobe!
instead of self tanner i like to use the moisturizer that build the tan...they make more of a brown look and it's definitely more natural
11Hey now... I am a pale redhead who burns in 10 minutes, so I have to be a self tan expert. I'm from the South so looking tan and wearing shorts is pretty much a given, no matter how you get there. I used to do Mystic Tan once a week and found that to be much easier and more natural-looking (once you master the drying-off technique) than bottle tans.
