Happy St. Patty's Day, everyone! Since the four-leaf clover is one of this holiday's mascots, I thought it'd be a good time to talk about luck. While luck is really just triumph or failure determined by chance, it seems as though some people have it on their side and some don't. There are those who are typically lucky in love, lucky in their career, and lucky when it comes to taking risks, but then there are those who always seem to get the short end of the stick. Of course we all have our good days and our bad, but tell me, do you consider yourself to be lucky?

I find myself to feel pretty lucky in life for the most part- we could alway use a little more luck!
1I definitely don't consider myself lucky I am usually getting the short end of the stick in most situations but I am grateful for what I do have and hope that my luck will get better with time.

3I used to consider myself really lucky...but not lately!
4in the past (like highschool, college) i was VERY lucky for jobs. awesome jobs fell in my lap. i always had the best paying job and the best hours compared to other people my age. and never had to apply for them.
now, not so much. i've worked really hard to get my master's and get the job i have following graduation. but it's made me appreciate it more so i don't mind.
in terms of love, i've definitely been screwed around a lot, but i'm way luckier than a lot of people, i guess. and now, i'm very happy and would consider myself lucky to have met my wonderful boyfriend in the most random way imaginable. plus, lucky to have such a great guy who doesn't do stuff some people's stupid boyfriends do.
in terms of random luck like finding money and winning prizes, i never do!
but overall, i'd say i'm pretty lucky in life...i am blessed...i come from an awesome Cleaver-like family with very little drama, and i've always had tons of fun in my life. it's not that i have tons of money or tons of experiences compared to some of my friends but i've always been handed a pretty good card in life (naturally smart, ridiculously goodlooking
, outgoing, never depressed or shy, blessed with good health for myself and the ones i love,
no major disasters to speak of etc.) and i don't have any complaints.

8I've been through alot of hardships in the past, so I didn't always feel "lucky," but like others said, blessed is a better way to put it.

10I am so incredibly lucky. But I think that it has been a combination of hard work and luck that has gotten me to where I am today - I don't just walk around expecting luck to drop good things in my lap. But when it happens, I can tell you that I'm immensely grateful.
11I have streaks of luck..with lottery tickets, having one of the most well behaved kids ever! ..and yet not. Im prolly one of the only ppl I know who can walk down the street, fall to the ground and sprain an ankle while finding 50 bucks on the ground. Ill take it I guess
12You make your own "luck". You'll get what you want when you work for it, or just let things progress the way they should. I am not lucky, but I am grateful for everyone in my life, everything I have, every day I'm alive.
...and I know I said people, but I love my boyfriend, he is absolutely the best thing about me. I'm beyond blessed to have him.

16i don't think so. I think I have worked hard for everything I have accomplished but I am very grateful for the things that I do have.
17Yes, I am definitely lucky. I have been in several car crashes where I should have not walked away and I have. I carry a four leaf clover with me everywhere I go and believe very much in luck.

19I feel very lucky indeed, and I make sure to thank God for small mercies every day. I am safe, happy, I don't live in a war-torn country, I have a loving family and I feel destined for success. Or what some of you call, blessed.
When it comes to dumb luck I often feel that things always seem to go my way in the larger picture in life (like I always get the job or guy I want), and if I lose, it's only in small things (like missing that last bus on the way home).
20I have no idea if I'm "lucky" but I know for a fact that I am incredibly greatful for everything in my life, especially my family. I may have had some "unlucky" experiences but who doesn't. I like the idea that you create your own luck though.
21I know I'm lucky. ^_^ But I have to put in effort to keep it that way. Which is awesome.
22I'm with Chrstne-you make your own luck. I'm lucky in some parts in my life-like getting to meet my heroes or getting into the college I wanted-but I know I worked on making that happen. I believe more in fate, something takes you so far that it's up to you to make it happen completely. I know it sounds cheesy but from personal experience I really do believe it!
23But I don't feel lucky with boys, I'm very unlucky in that department
