I'm not a Paris fan, but I felt genuinely sorry for her watching this. She is honestly no more a slut than an average college girl- who do run around without underwear sometimes, and do have sex with their boyfriends. I'm not condoning anything she has done publicly or privately, but at least she has the grace to not answer negatively to her many critics. I hope Sarah apologizes to Paris, because kicking someone when they're down is horrible.

I didn't watch the show and I just watched this and it was pretty overboard of Sarah. She went too far with it and I actually felt bad for Paris.

I agree with the above two commentors. I am a closet Paris fan, and why I don't know, but I am drawn to her and find her totally interesting and fun to watch read about. She looked genuinley hurt by Sarah's remarks, and the audience cheering for the bad remarks was horrible. shame on everyone for kicking someone when they are down. I think Paris is going to rise like a Phoenix out of the ashes and suprise everyone on how she acts when she gets out...at least for a little while. i am not saying she is going to be a saint, but i think she will act differently. an then go back to normal ways like all the other little starlets.

Ouch. I think it would have been less uncomfortable for me if Paris hadn't actually BEEN THERE. But watching her face made me feel bad for her - no one wants that kind of reaction to their imprisonment, even if it seems most people are quietly (and not so quietly) cheering anyway! I think she deserves imprisonment, but this was just, well, ouch.

It was harsh, but I don't think it was undeserved. Paris ignored her previous sentence, showed up late for court, and blamed her handlers for her own mistake.

I think Sarah making a comment like that in front of Paris is better than all of those 'talking heads' who make snarky comments behind her back, but then act simperingly sweet to her face.

I think the audiences reaction was a huge wake up call for her and i'm pretty sure she had no idea that one was coming.Hopefully this time she's not jerking people around and actually learns something from all this.

I totally agree with vmruby. I hope that Paris is realizing what her "peers" think of her. I mean, what the f**k? Who the hell goes to a major awards show they day before reporting to jail. I love Sarah Silverman a billion times more after that.

Wow, I was a little squeamish watching this video, but I think it's time for Paris to have her wake up call. Comedians make fun of people all the time, especially at award shows when the celeb's actually there.

well it's about time! i think paris was in need of some humble pie, but it seemed that no-one until now could be bothered to dish it up. no idea who sarah silverman is, but she did a good job.

Paris had it coming... She puts herself out there, and with that comes the positive and negative attention.

I must say it is about time. She deserved her sentence and deserves everything coming to her. Lets hope she does learn something from this experience.

Yea I dont think sarah went to far I think that paris would have not felt so bad had all the fans not cheered on so much, but she totally deserves to know what people think of her. She has no regaurd for laws and its time she gets whats coming to her. And besides that I thought she was sentenced to 45 days? Why are all the news people saying 3 weeks? Thats not45 days in my calculations soudns like shes already getting off easy.

Whether she deserved it or not, she should have been expecting comments like that when she freaking GOES TO AN AWARDS SHOW THE DAY BEFORE GOING TO PRISON! What Sarah Silverman said was no worse than anything every celebrity blog/gossip site/comedian has been saying, and I'm sure Paris hears her fair share. Personally I think it was called for, go Sarah!

If she didn't act the way she acts - and I don't just mean the sluttiness, I mean the racist videos, the cackling at her friend ridiculing LiLo, everything! - people wouldn't feel the way they feel.

Yeah, people definitely have reason to dislike her. If she's going to attend an award show on the eve of her jail sentence, she knows she's going to be picked on. If she had just laughed it off, people wouldn't even be talking about it today. But hmmm...she has wanted nothing more than for people to sympathize with her lately. And here we are talking about her while she's behing bars. Good work, Paris!

Yeah, if I was Paris, I wouldn't have been that upset at the joke, but I'd have been horrified at the audience reaction. Seriously, if Jack Nicholson ever laughed at my misfortune like that I'd want to crawl into a hole and die. I really hope that this'll be a wake-up call for Paris and she'll see what people really think of her.

That being said, although I don't think the joke was too much (actually I thought it was kind of funny), Sarah Silverman usually bugs the PISS out of me.

the "joke" wasn't worth it... Paris deserves to go to prison.. but she didn't deserve that someone told it in an auditory, because everyone knows what happens.. immediately people start cheering and yelling of joy... and the "joke" wasn't worth it.

sarah silverman is a comedienne and this is what she does. paris knew she was going to be made fun of so it her own fault. she shouldn't have went to the awards show. period. she only did it for publicity and to garner more attention. add to that the fact she heads to jail right after the show. with the window open so the paparazzi could get a decent picture. she can't understand why she has made people dislike her which is the epitome of self-centeredness. i love sarah has the balls to not censor herself and let her have it. sarah is gung ho with everything and that is what makes her so funny. now if only some of her comedic talent could rub off on her boyfriend.

Actually I thought it was pretty tame joke for Sarah. I thought it was hilarious. Now whether it was deserved who really knows. But I like to think that all the other celebs laughing at the joke totally have the inside track info on what people really do. Everyones reaction was definitely telling

I totally agree with Lockwood , "that's really b*tchy of her" , I mean , I hate Paris and I think she deserves what she's going through but what Sarah did was unacceptable : to humiliate someone (like that) in front of all those people ? She (sarah) needs to grow up and she has to do it quickly , because no matter who that person is , what she did was just ... wrong

I am not sure if there is another person in this world who hates Paris Hilton more than I, but I actually felt sorry for her. It was too much. Let her serve the time that she deserves and leave her alone. She made a mistake that countless others make, now every one just needs to move on to a new and better subject.
